Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced SEO & Content lead to join our team. The right candidate will have experience in owning the day to day responsibilities that come with growing a website through organic search and managing a team of content writers and translators.
As a growing company, the responsibilities will be varied, and this role will be right for you if you are able to work at a strategic level and you aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into the day-to-day execution. As this is a senior role, you must be proactive, decisive, and comfortable working autonomously.
Key accountabilities
- Ownership of content including revenue & ranking performance across all languages
- Planning, creating and delivering upon SEO & content strategies to meet agreed objectives and KPIs
- Strategising, planning & delivering upon content plans across different markets
- Management & hiring of freelance content editors & producers, ensuring work is delivered on time and at the required quality
- Optimising site content; both on an individual page basis, as well as considering and understanding how to utilise a website as a whole to harness greater rankings
- Conducting audits and providing recommendations to ensure optimal content performance
- Reporting on the performance of the websites in line with KPIs
Requirements
- 4+ years experience in a dedicated content role
- A history of demonstrable success delivering results through SEO and content
- A solid understanding of the content production process, including management of a production team
- Ability to work autonomously and own projects from start to finish
- Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise and manage a large workload
- Knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Analytics / SEMrush / Ahrefs / Majestic SEO / Screaming Frog / Supermetrics
- Great communicator of critical information
