March is the leading provider of critical engineering services. With a turnover of £188m, we employ over 1,000 colleagues across the UK. We collaborate with the businesses of today to engineer the industries of tomorrow. We increase output, reduce cost, save energy and cut carbon, putting ideas on the table and boots on the ground for solutions that leave a lasting impact.
Industry isn’t all we build
Our company is built on our people. We value lifetime learning and work hard to make sure our people achieve their potential through our MARCH® Academy programme of lifelong learning.
And we have ambitious growth plans. This is a great opportunity to join a successful, fast-growing company in a new role as part of the Marketing team.
What I’ll do.
Your primary responsibilities will be to create and execute effective digital marketing campaigns to enhance brand presence, engage potential customers and drive business growth.
The role will collaborate closely with various teams, internally and externally, and be a point of contact for our trusted specialist Web, PPC and SEO partner.
- Create and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies, including paid and email campaigns against clear targets and in line with brand guidelines to drive customer acquisition and retention.
- Manage SEO strategy with the company’s web agency.
- Manage and update the company website (organic and content)
- Act as the in-house point of contact for our trusted specialist Website development, PPC and SEO partner, collaborating to optimise our website and improve search engine rankings.
- Own and implement company social media plan, including content writing, audience and influencer attraction and coordinating paid campaigns.
- Collaborate with the CRM administrator on lead management, analysing lead information and metrics for reporting and closing the loop with nurturing campaigns.
- Report on target metrics and success. Provide insights and recommendations to drive data-informed decision making.
- Support the MARCH Customer Satisfaction and Feedback process throughout the year.
- Proactively encourage and respond to customer reviews and audience comments to maintain a positive reputation online.
- Provide insight and expertise in the development of digital marketing for the annual marketing plan and budget, looking at what our competitors are doing, evaluating markets and recommending marketing activities.
- Drive innovation in digital marketing techniques by keeping up to speed with the latest trends and opportunities for our business.
- Embody a positive culture that reflects our values: the work we do matters, we take pride in our craft, and we work better together
What do I need?
- 5 years minimum working in the field of marketing, in particular campaign management for different digital marketing channels and platforms (SEO, Paid, Email, Social, CMS – ideally WordPress)
- Data analysis and reporting
- Closed Loop Lead management expertise. Proficient in the use of CRM platforms
- Understanding of marketing best practices and strategies
- Communication and collaboration skills with colleagues and contacts
- Marketing degree or professional association qualification, ideally with a specialism in Digital Marketing
- Any additional qualifications relevant to digital and/or social media marketing that would add value to the role, team, and company.
What we can offer you
- Hybrid working with opportunities to get out and about and meet our fantastic teams throughout the UK.
- Lifelong learning and development through our MARCH® Academy– tailored to your career progression.
- We’ll look after your well-being with a safe and healthy work environment and initiatives.
