We're looking for a friendly, outgoing, and creative team member who enjoys helping customers while also having an interest in merchandising and marketing. If you love interacting with people, staying organized, creating eye-catching displays, and being part of exciting store events, we'd love to meet you!

Previous hardware experience is a plus, but it's not required—we provide extensive training to help you succeed from day one.

What You'll Do

This position offers much more than traditional retail responsibilities. You'll begin by learning the store from the ground up while providing exceptional customer service. As you grow in the role, you'll also have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities that help shape the customer experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting customers and helping them find everything they need to complete their projects.
  • Delivering the helpful service Bralys Ace Hardware is known for.
  • Assisting with merchandising, product placement, and creating attractive in-store displays.
  • Helping maintain Ace Sign Kit signage and promotional materials throughout the store.
  • Assisting with planning and executing in-store events and promotions.
  • Learning the store's social media presence with the goal of eventually managing day-to-day social media for the location under the guidance and oversight of our marketing team.
  • Working in a fast-paced, energetic environment where every day is different.

Requirements

  • Friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Interest in social media, merchandising, marketing, or retail is a plus.
  • Ability to stand and walk for most of a 6–8 hour shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
