The Company:

HallPass is building the next generation of candy. Our goal is simple: create the candy people already love, with a fraction of the calories, at the same price. HallPass recently launched nationwide at Walmart.

HallPass is part of the Medici Brands portfolio, alongside brands like David. This is a rare opportunity to join a breakout food brand at a pivotal stage of growth. Led by CEO Peter Rahal, Cofounder and Former CEO of RXBAR, and President Michael Tierney, Founder and Former CEO of Stuffed Puffs, HallPass brings together deep experience building and scaling category-defining consumer brands.

HallPass is working to reimagine one of the largest and most iconic categories in food, proving that better nutrition doesn’t have to come at the expense of taste or price. With national distribution and ambitious plans to expand our product portfolio and retail presence, HallPass is working to become a leading candy brand in the U.S. and beyond.

Role & Responsibilities:

This role owns how HallPass shows up every day in our organic channels, our creator partnerships, and the social-first publishers that break snack news.

You’ll help define our voice on social, run our channels, own our influencer program end to end, and report on what’s working. It’s ideal for someone with strong brand instincts and native fluency in internet culture. You are equally comfortable writing a caption that lands, negotiating a creator deal, and presenting performance to leadership.

Social Strategy, Brand Voice & Channels

  • Own our organic social strategy, including platform priorities, content pillars, cadence, and growth targets
  • Help define and steward HallPass’s tone of voice on social
  • Run day-to-day publishing, copy, and community across TikTok, Instagram, and our secondary channels
  • Build the content calendar across always-on content, launches, and seasonal moments
  • Keep a pulse on trends and platform changes, and move fast on what’s worth chasing

Influencer & Creator Program

  • Own the creator program end to end, including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, briefing, and reporting
  • Build direct creator relationships across tiers, and manage program budget
  • Negotiate rates, deliverables, exclusivity, and usage rights
  • Run an always-on seeding program, with a clear ladder from gifted to paid to ambassador

Earned Media & Social Publishers

  • Own relationships with the social-first publishers and food accounts that break candy news
  • Pitch product news, drops, and packaging moments to earn coverage and reposts
  • Set earned pickup targets per launch and report on them alongside owned performance

Content & Reporting

  • Brief content into the creative and external partners
  • Create and edit social-native content yourself when speed matters
  • Own reporting on channel and influencer performance, and turn it into content decisions
  • Run a weekly pulse, a monthly report, a post-mortem per launch, and a quarterly readout
  • 3–5 years in organic social or brand marketing, including 2+ years owning a brand’s channels
  • CPG, food, or consumer brand experience preferred
  • Proven experience running a creator program end to end, negotiating and contracting deals yourself
  • Deep, native understanding of TikTok and Instagram — algorithms, formats, and the creator ecosystem
  • A writer first, with sharp instincts for voice and the ability to be funny on purpose
  • Comfortable shooting and editing mobile-native content, and directing talent on set
  • Strong analytical mindset, with fluency in social and creator tooling
  • Highly self-directed and fast. You think big and thrive in a feedback-rich environment
  • Please include a portfolio of social content and creator programs you personally led
  • Nice to have: building a program from scratch, food or CPG publisher relationships
  • This is a full-time, in-office role based in New York City. We work onsite five days a week — when the culture fits, it is fun to be in the office together
  • Salary: $115k – $125k per year, inclusive of bonus
  • Company equity options
  • 100% covered Health, Vision, Dental Insurance
  • 401(k) with 4% match
  • Additional perks, such as covered gym expenses
  • Substantial and required PTO
