Social Media Manager - Hybrid - Dearborn, MI

Campbell Marketing & Communications is looking for a strategic and creative Social Media Manager to lead social media efforts for a variety of B2B and B2C clients, as well as Campbell’s own social channels. From motorsports and automotive to lifestyle and experiential campaigns, this role offers the opportunity to work on dynamic brands and exciting live events while helping shape impactful digital storytelling.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of social media and/or agency experience, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to confidently lead client relationships and strategic conversations. This individual should be self-motivated, collaborative, detail-oriented, and passionate about developing engaging content, identifying trends, and driving results across multiple social platforms.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead day-to-day assigned client accounts, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Develop and maintain strategic social media recommendations aligned with client goals, target audiences, and brand positioning.
  • Work with clients and internal team members to ensure client success, leading multiple accounts and providing mentorship to teammates.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative, PR, Experiential, and Digital teams to execute integrated campaigns.
  • Lead social media moderation and community management, engagement for assigned clients.
  • Oversee content calendars and guide content direction for assigned clients along with team.
  • Analyze social media performance metrics and provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients and internal teams.
  • Identify emerging trends, platform updates, and engagement opportunities to enhance client social presence.
  • Attend client meetings, industry events, and experiential activations to support live social media coverage and client engagement.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required/Desired:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in digital media, marketing, public relations, communications, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a Social Media Manager role
  • Strong hands-on experience with, and understanding of, current and emerging social networks, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn
  • Proficient in strategic thinking, adept at interpreting analytics, and skilled in delivering performance-enhancing recommendations for social channels.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite/Photoshop
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and public speaking skills
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Knowledge of motorsports, specifically off-road a plus.
  • Automotive market knowledge is a plus.
  • Content creation abilities (photo, graphic design) are a plus.
  • The role will flex across Campbell Marketing & Communications clients ranging across various industries.
  • Moderate travel required (8-10 events/year), including some weekend/evening hours.

Additional Information:

  • This position is open to remote work with preference for Charlotte, NC, or Detroit, MI-based candidates.
  • Salary range starts at $53,000– negotiable based on experience.
  • A valid Driver’s License and a clear driving record are required.
