Social Media Coordinator and Content Creator
BroadStreet PublishingSocial Media Coordinator and Content Creator
Full-Time | Hybrid — Savage, Mn | Content Creation • On-Camera Storytelling • Organic Growth
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a creative, outgoing, and social-media-savvy coordinator who’s just as excited to be in front of the camera as they are creating content behind it. This is not simply a role for someone who can maintain a posting calendar or replicate existing processes. We want someone who brings fresh ideas, knows what makes people stop scrolling, and can turn timely trends into original, mission-aligned content.
Working with our marketing team, you’ll help shape how BroadStreet shows up online—developing creative concepts, appearing in videos, building community, and testing approaches that increase organic reach, engagement, and follower growth.
About BroadStreet
BroadStreet Publishing Group is a Christian book publisher creating meaningful, inspirational products that share God’s truth with quality, beauty, and creativity. Our titles include The Passion Translation® and supporting Bible studies, Christian living, biographies, fiction, devotionals, journals, gift books, planners, and children’s books across various imprints including Belle City Gifts, BroadStreet Kids, and Faith Foundations.
What You’ll Do
Create, host, and innovate
- Serve as an on-camera representative of BroadStreet, sharing book recommendations, new releases, behind-the-scenes stories, and engaging videos with a warm, natural presence.
- Proactively pitch original content concepts, recurring series, campaign ideas, and experiments rather than relying only on existing templates or direction.
- Develop, script, film, edit, and publish compelling short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, and platform-native formats), along with graphics, captions, and other social content.
- Stay immersed in emerging trends, platform features, creator culture, and audience behavior; adapt relevant opportunities quickly and thoughtfully for our Christian audience.
- Collaborate with authors, colleagues, and partners to capture authentic, shareable stories about our books and brands.
- Creatively transform promotional assets into engaging, platform-specific content that highlights our books, brands, new releases, and promotions.
Grow and engage our audience
- Manage day-to-day social channels and an intentional, platform-specific content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, X, Threads, and other relevant channels.
- Test creative approaches to expand organic discovery, reach new readers, deepen engagement, and build an active follower community.
- Monitor views, retention, reach, shares, saves, engagement, and follower growth; turn performance insights into specific recommendations and next steps.
- Write compelling, brand-aligned captions, hooks, and calls to action; engage thoughtfully with comments, messages, and mentions within community guidelines.
- Identify and support relationships with influencers, book reviewers, authors, and faith-based communities in collaboration with the marketing team.
Support the marketing team
- Coordinate content with product launches, seasonal promotions, and broader marketing priorities; contribute to monthly social analytics reports.
- Assist as needed with shared marketing inboxes, marketing databases, and other departmental projects.
Show Us Your Work
We’d love to see samples of social content you’ve developed—especially original concepts and on-camera videos. If you haven’t appeared in published content before, a short introduction video is welcome.
What We’re Looking For
- A confident, personable on-camera communicator who enjoys representing a brand and connecting with an audience.
- A proactive idea generator with a track record of bringing original content ideas from concept to execution.
- A strong feel for social trends, platform-native storytelling, attention-grabbing hooks, and what inspires people to watch, share, and follow.
- Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with major social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Pinterest, with a strong understanding of platform-specific best practices, content formats, analytics, and strategies for driving organic growth.
- Hands-on experience with social account management and practical video filming, editing, and content design.
- An experimental mindset: you can interpret analytics, learn from results, and suggest smarter ways to grow organically.

- Genuine enthusiasm for Christian books and the mission of BroadStreet Publishing.
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
