In this role, you'll develop and manage content that reflects our brand, engages our audiences, supports business objectives, and builds meaningful online communities.

Working closely with marketing, creative, communications, and other teams, you'll plan campaigns, publish content, monitor conversations, and evaluate performance. The ideal candidate combines excellent writing and creative judgment with strong organization, platform knowledge, and the ability to adapt to changing trends and priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage a social media strategy aligned with the organization's brand, audience, and marketing goals.

Create and maintain a content calendar for relevant platforms, such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, Pinterest, or YouTube.

Write, edit, schedule, and publish engaging copy and content in the appropriate voice for each platform.

Coordinate the creation of social assets—including graphics, photos, short-form video, and other multimedia—with internal teams or external partners.

Adapt campaigns and content for different audiences, platforms, formats, and stages of the customer journey.

Monitor social channels, respond to comments and messages, and foster positive, respectful community engagement.

Track relevant conversations, audience sentiment, industry developments, and emerging platform features or trends.

Collaborate with marketing, communications, sales, customer support, and creative teams to coordinate messaging and campaigns.

Use social media management and analytics tools to schedule content, monitor activity, and generate performance reports.

Measure results against agreed key performance indicators, such as reach, engagement, audience growth, traffic, leads, or conversions.

Analyze performance data and use insights to improve content, publishing schedules, and campaign effectiveness.

Support influencer, creator, partnership, paid-social, or campaign initiatives as required.

Follow brand guidelines, platform policies, accessibility practices, and applicable advertising and disclosure requirements.

Identify potential reputational or customer-service issues and escalate sensitive matters in line with established procedures.

Maintain organized records of content, approvals, campaign assets, and performance results.

Required Qualifications

Demonstrated experience managing social media accounts, campaigns, or online communities.

Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging for different platforms.

Working knowledge of major social media platforms and their content formats, audiences, and publishing tools.

Experience planning and executing content calendars and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to interpret analytics and translate performance data into practical recommendations.

Familiarity with social media management, scheduling, and reporting tools.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Excellent organization, attention to detail, and deadline-management abilities.

Sound judgment when responding to public feedback and handling sensitive or time-critical issues.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience creating or coordinating graphic, photo, and video content.

Familiarity with design or editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or short-form video editing software.

Experience with paid social campaigns, influencer partnerships, or creator programs.

Knowledge of SEO, social listening, customer relationship management, or web analytics tools.
