Position Summary

The Social Media & Content Manager is responsible for leading the strategic planning, development, execution, and optimization of social media and content marketing initiatives across Loud And Live's live event properties and portfolio of clients.

This role serves as the day-to-day leader of social media strategy and content operations, ensuring every platform delivers engaging storytelling, audience growth, and measurable business results.

The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with creative vision, possesses deep expertise across social platforms, and has experience leading content teams in a fast-paced live event or agency environment.

Essential Areas Of Responsibility

Social Media Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and lead comprehensive social media strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives, brand positioning, and business goals.
  • Establish platform-specific strategies across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube and emerging platforms.
  • Translate marketing priorities into integrated social campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, ticket sales, consumer acquisition, and brand affinity.
  • Identify new opportunities, platform innovations, and emerging trends to maintain industry leadership.
  • Provide strategic direction and mentorship to coordinators, content creators, and agency partners.

Content Strategy & Planning

  • Own the content strategy and editorial calendar across all assigned brands, clients, and events.
  • Lead content planning sessions with creative, marketing, paid media, public relations, partnerships, and production teams.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, campaign messaging, and audience insights.
  • Oversee the development of: Short-form video
  • Photography
  • Motion graphics
  • Written copy
  • Stories
  • Reels
  • Livestream content
  • User-generated content initiatives

Content Production & Creative Direction

  • Collaborate with designers, videographers, photographers, editors, and creators to produce best-in-class social content.
  • Provide creative direction during content shoots, event coverage, and campaign production.
  • Ensure content reflects current platform best practices while maintaining brand/event integrity.
  • Approve creative assets prior to publishing.

Community Management & Audience Engagement

  • Develop community engagement strategies that strengthen brand loyalty and audience participation.
  • Establish standards and response guidelines for community management.
  • Monitor conversations, trends, and audience sentiment.
  • Escalate customer service, reputation management, or crisis communication issues when necessary.
  • Identify opportunities to amplify fan content and user-generated storytelling.

Analytics & Performance Optimization

  • Define KPIs for social media performance across awareness, engagement, community growth, traffic, and conversion.
  • Analyze platform analytics and campaign performance to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Deliver monthly and campaign recap reports with actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Partner with Digital Media teams to evaluate paid and organic performance holistically.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and industry benchmarks.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Advertising, Digital Media, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in social media marketing, content strategy, or digital marketing.
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership or team management experience.
  • Agency, entertainment, sports, live events, or media industry experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple brands simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of content strategy, audience development, and platform algorithms.
  • Experience collaborating with creative production teams.
  • Experience presenting performance reports and strategic recommendations to leadership.

  • Passion for entertainment, live events, and culture.
  • Deep understanding of the full lifecycle of a project
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish both written and verbal.
  • Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Familiarity with video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).

Travel Requirements

  • 20% domestic travel

Physical Requirements:

Constant:

  • When at the office; incumbent will be mostly sitting down in front of a computer.

Occasional:

  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during events and campaign launches.

Working Environment:

  • Able to complete multiple duties with accuracy while shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines.
  • Fast paced environment with peaks of intensity and increase in workloads.
