This is a hands-on role for someone who loves social media, content creation and being part of the action. You'll be responsible for turning our social media strategy into engaging content that gets people talking, from coming up with ideas and filming content through to editing videos, writing captions, scheduling posts and engaging with our online communities.

Some of what you will be doing...

  • Creating engaging content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other social platforms
  • Planning and organising content shoots across our centres nationwide
  • Travelling regularly to capture social-first content featuring our teams, customers and experiences
  • Creating employer brand and recruitment marketing content to support hiring campaigns
  • Identifying and capitalising on social media trends and cultural moments
  • Scheduling and publishing content across multiple channels
  • Managing community engagement by responding to comments and messages
  • Monitoring content performance and producing monthly reports and insights
  • Working alongside Marketing, People and Recruitment teams to bring campaigns to life
  • Filming, editing and producing short-form video content including Reels, TikToks and Stories
  • Supporting employee advocacy initiatives and encouraging team-generated content
  • Maintaining an organised library of content assets for future use

To be successful, you'll have:

  • Experience creating content for social media, whether professionally, through personal projects, internships or apprenticeships
  • A genuine passion for social media and a strong understanding of platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
  • Confidence filming content and appearing on camera
  • Basic video editing skills and experience using social-first editing tools
  • Excellent copywriting skills and the ability to adapt tone for different audiences
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • A proactive attitude and the confidence to identify opportunities independently
  • Knowledge of social media trends, formats and online culture
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build relationships across teams
  • A willingness to travel regularly across the UK

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience creating employer brand or recruitment marketing content
  • Understanding of employee advocacy programmes and influencer-style content
  • Experience using content scheduling or social media management tools
  • Previous experience working within retail, hospitality, leisure or consumer brands
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle

What's in it for you?

  • The opportunity to play a key role in shaping content for two exciting leisure brands
  • Regular travel across the UK creating content in our centres
  • Real ownership and creative input from day one
  • Exposure to consumer marketing, employer branding and recruitment campaigns
  • Ongoing development and support from experienced content and social media professionals
  • The chance to build a varied portfolio across multiple channels and content formats

This role is based at our Hemel Hempstead Support Office, with regular travel to our centres across the UK.
