The Valero Alamo Bowl is accepting applications for a full-time, seasonal intern from August 3, 2026 – January 15, 2027.
This is a hands-on opportunity to be a key member of our media services team while helping tell the story of a nationally respected college football bowl game by creating content, managing digital communications, and supporting media operations.
Report to: VP of Marketing & Communications and Brand & Partnership Marketing Manager
Responsibilities
Produce the Bowl’s newsletter, media guide, game program, fan guide, and press releases
Assist in creating content for our social media (@valeroalamobowl), website, and promotional use with support from our in-house designer and photographer/videographer
Assist Events Manager with community initiatives, including teacher recognition and scholarship programs
Oversee all press operations, including credentialing, press materials, and on-site support during events
Coordinate with school athletic departments to plan campus visits for Bowl representatives
Assist in day-to-day administrative tasks

Skills & Experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with Adobe InDesign is highly preferred
Familiarity with social media platforms, and basic photo and video editing skills
Able to meet same-day deadlines and produce high-quality content efficiently
Excellent customer service skills, written and verbal communication skills, and organizational skills
