We are seeking a detail-oriented SEO Coordinator to support and execute search engine optimization initiatives that improve website performance, enhance search rankings, and increase organic traffic. This role is responsible for implementing on-page SEO strategies, optimizing website content and structure, and collaborating with content creators, digital marketers, and technical teams to ensure SEO best practices are consistently applied.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct keyword research and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search visibility and website rankings.
  • Optimize website content, metadata, landing pages, and internal linking according to SEO best practices.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Identify and support the resolution of technical SEO issues, working closely with web development teams as needed.
  • Collaborate with content and marketing teams to ensure SEO principles are integrated into digital content and campaigns.
  • Perform competitive analysis and stay current on SEO trends, search engine algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
  • Support additional marketing and business initiatives as required.

Qualifications:

  • Post- secondary education or certificate in digital marketing.
  • 1-3 years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of keyword research, on-page SEO, technical SEO, and website optimization.
  • Experience using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools to track performance and provide insights.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web development principles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Creative, adaptable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused.
  • Bilingual (English* and French), spoken and written. (*) This qualification is required as you will be interacting with partners, vendors, internal/external clients and/or staff across Canada on a regular basis.
