The Role
IcyBox is looking for a Senior Influencer Marketing Strategist to own the creator and influencer engine that fuels a fast-moving, high-growth consumer business. This is a high-impact, execution-focused role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, and knows how to build creator relationships and content strategy across a complex, fast-changing organization. You'll be the connective tissue between creators, brand, growth, and product, owning the sourcing, partnerships, and campaign execution that turn unboxing moments into acquisition.
You'll help build the creator marketing foundation that lets IcyBox scale from a fast-moving watch commerce and mystery box business into a durable consumer brand. This role is ideal for someone who is strategically sharp, relationship-driven, and energized by being close to the center of the business. You'll get exposure to strategic decisions, company-building problems, and cross-functional execution from day one, with the autonomy to identify what needs to happen and drive it forward yourself.
This is not a purely coordination role. It's a builder/operator role for someone who can move from a creator negotiation to a campaign brief to a performance readout without losing momentum. Some days you'll be sourcing new creators. Some days you'll be untangling a campaign that isn't performing. Some days you'll be building a system that makes the whole creator program sharper every week after you're done.
What You'll Do
- Identify, recruit, and manage a roster of creators across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube suited to unboxing, luxury/watch, and collectible content.
- Negotiate rates, deliverables, and usage rights directly with creators and their agents or management.
- Build and maintain a seeding program that gets IcyBox mystery boxes into the hands of the right creators at the right cadence.
- Build, launch, and manage influencer campaigns end-to-end, from brief through content approval to publishing.
- Partner directly with Brand and Product to align creator content with current drops, promotions, and new Icebox releases.
- Manage affiliate and referral tracking for attributing sales to specific creators and campaigns.
- Develop campaign performance reporting covering reach, engagement, conversion, and cost-per-acquisition by creator and campaign.
- Serve as the connective tissue between the creator economy and the rest of the company, surfacing what's working and what isn't.
- Monitor influencer marketing, social, and creator-economy trends relevant to unboxing, collectibles, and luxury goods content.
- Ensure all sponsored content includes proper disclosures and complies with FTC guidelines and platform policies.
- Create documentation, briefs, and operating playbooks that make repeatable creator work easier as IcyBox scales.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in influencer marketing, creator marketing, or social media strategy, ideally with startup or high-growth consumer exposure.
- A track record of building creator partnerships and campaign strategy in ambiguous, fast-moving environments without needing a detailed playbook.
- Strong negotiation instincts and comfort managing relationships directly with creators, talent managers, or agencies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate performance data into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
- High ownership and strong follow-through: you're the person who makes sure a campaign actually ships and actually performs.
- Low ego and strong relationship instincts. You influence through clarity, trust, and execution rather than title.
- Strong attention to detail, especially around disclosure and compliance requirements for sponsored content.
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment where priorities shift and the answer isn't always obvious.
- Genuine curiosity about consumer brands, watches, marketplaces, creators, and how a high-growth company actually builds an audience.
- Willingness to do both strategic and unglamorous work, from building a creator strategy to chasing down a content approval.
Nice to Have
- Experience at a high-growth startup or consumer company.
- Experience with e-commerce, marketplaces, luxury goods, watches, collectibles, or consumer apps.
- Familiarity with creator/affiliate tools like GRIN, Aspire, Creator.iq, or similar platforms.
- Experience running paid amplification alongside organic creator content.
