In-House Content Creator & Social Media Manager

Voodoo Automotive Paint & Body is looking for a creative, self-motivated In-House Content Creator to take ownership of our social media presence and help grow the business through content.

Schedule: 3–4 days per week, approximately 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

Schedule flexibility: Days and hours can be flexible based on the candidate and business needs. Full-time hours may also be available depending on experience, performance, and business needs.

Location: Voodoo Automotive Paint & Body — Gonzales, LA

Responsibilities:

• Film content throughout the shop, including vehicles, projects, transformations, employees, and behind-the-scenes footage
• Edit and post content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms
• Develop creative content ideas and bring your own vision and concepts to the brand
• Direct employees/customers and anyone appearing on camera
• Manage all social media DMs, messages, comments, and inquiries
• Monitor social media analytics and adjust strategy based on performance
• Develop strategies focused on increasing reach, engagement, followers, customer inquiries, and overall business growth
• Stay up to date with social media trends, sounds, and content styles
• Maintain a consistent brand image and posting schedule
• Provide regular insight into what is working and opportunities for growth

Requirements:

• Experience creating and editing social media content
• Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
• Creative, independent, and proactive
• Comfortable directing people on camera
• Comfortable working in an active automotive body shop environment
• Must bring your own camera/equipment and editing capabilities
• Automotive knowledge is a plus, but not required
• Must be a non-smoker. No smoking or smoking odors are permitted while working around vehicles or on company property.

This is a hands-on position for someone who wants creative ownership and is responsible for using social media to help grow the business.
