Our History:

The Storyteller Overland vibe started out as a drawing on a restaurant napkin in 2017 illustrating a desire to help people live more adventurous lives. Back then, very few had ever heard of an adventure van, and some at the restaurant table with CEO Jeffrey Hunter had doubts it would ever sell.

The company officially launched in 2018 with a humble yet confident team of seven employees. Over the next year, we worked on launching our MODE 4x4 and finding dealer partners to work with, and finally, the dream was turning into a reality.

We’ve been fortunate to be full speed ahead since then. We’ve added sister companies to our galaxy and built out quite the impressive team – hopefully you included. We hit 500 vans built, then 1,000, then so many more that these milestones became difficult to keep track of. We’ve added new vehicles to our lineup and have built a massive community of like-minded adventurers that also continues to grow.

Today, Storyteller Overland is the most expansive adventure vehicle company in North America built on an authentic spirit of adventure, a passion for exceptionally well-crafted rigs, and a deep love and affinity for the community of owners we serve.

As we reflect on our history, though, we remind ourselves that our best ideas are still ahead of us, not behind us. Here’s to saying yes to the next grand adventure!

Our Culture:

We are proud to have a values-based culture, which means we focus less on rules & transacting and more on values & transforming. Our goal is to create workplaces and spaces where great people can do great things to thrive and flourish both professionally and personally.

Overview:

Storyteller Overland is seeking a Growth Marketing Manager who owns the full demand generation funnel—from first impression to qualified dealer lead—and operates with the mindset of an owner, not a task executor. You'll build campaigns, manage media, analyze performance, optimize conversion paths, and continuously improve results through rapid testing and execution.

This is a highly autonomous, execution-focused role. You instinctively know how to identify opportunities, reach the right audiences, create high-converting experiences, and measure success. AI should already be a core part of your daily workflow, enabling you to move faster, generate better ideas, analyze data more effectively, and drive measurable business growth.

General Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Build and own the full-funnel paid media strategy across Meta, Google, YouTube, and emerging channels,
  • Develop campaign briefs, audience segmentation frameworks, and testing roadmaps,
  • Partner with the CMO on quarterly planning, budget allocation, and performance goals,
  • Identify gaps in the funnel and proactively build solutions — don't wait to be asked,
  • Own day-to-day execution in Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads — hands on keyboard,
  • Manage and optimize media spend to hit cost-per-lead and ROAS targets,
  • Build, launch, and iterate on paid campaigns — from awareness through retargeting,
  • Manage or oversee agency relationships; hold partners accountable to performance,
  • Use AI to generate and iterate on ad copy, landing page headlines, and email subject lines at scale,
  • Brief creative assets for the design and video teams with specificity and strategic intent,
  • Ensure all performance creative is consistent with the STO brand voice,
  • Own A/B testing across copy, creative, audience, and offer — document what you learn,
  • Build and own a performance dashboard that maps spend, traffic, MQLs, and SQLs across channels,
  • Report weekly on performance to the CMO — insights, not just metrics,
  • Segment audiences by intent signal; treat high-intent retargeting differently from cold traffic,
  • Surface patterns in the data and turn them into decisions quickly,
  • Drive qualified leads for the STO dealer network — this is the primary north star metric,
  • Optimize "Find a Dealer" paths and lead forms for conversion and quality,
  • Build offer-driven campaigns (rebates, events, model launches) that create urgency for in-market buyers,
  • Work with internal sales and dealers to understand lead quality feedback and adjust targeting accordingly,
  • Contribute to the overall success of the Storyteller Galaxy by co-elevating  with all team members through collaboration, cooperation, and camaraderie,
  • Contribute to other initiatives and responsibilities as needed to support business priorities and team success.
