Growth Lead

Location: Metro Headquarters, Derry Street, HSK, London, W8 5HY

Position: Full Time/ Permanent

About the role

Working as part of the Metro Sales Team and alongside the MMM Agency Team, the core function of this role is to deliver commercial success for the Metro brand. This is done by identifying and successfully delivering new revenue opportunities for Metro whilst also collaborating with the MMM Agency Team on live agency briefs. Successful growth can be related to overall revenue, increasing brand count and growing Metro’s share of market.

Person Specification

• Be an experienced high-performing salesperson with a proven track record of converting new business
• Be a strong team player with a ‘hunter’ sales mentality
• Have excellent knowledge of the print and publishing market
• Good digital sales experience
• Have senior commercial relationships across all agencies across planning and investment
• The ability to unlock new influential contacts across your agency patch
• Ability to identify and create new revenue opportunities and develop products
• Consistent revenue delivery on your agency patch by finding new commercial opportunities
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline to ensure that personal and team revenue target are delivered
• Collaborate with all MMM sales and editorial teams to help grow total and deliver successful campaigns
• Be a passionate ambassador for the Metro brand
