We are looking for a hands-on Social Media Content Producer to create authentic, high-quality Instagram content, including real jobsite footage of contractors installing LeonLite products.

The Role

This is a full-time, hourly position combining content production at our Eastvale office and showroom with visits to active jobsites throughout the Inland Empire and greater Southern California.

You will produce Instagram Reels, carousels, Stories, and feed posts featuring real installations, product applications, contractor experiences, and before-and-after transformations.

The position is primarily scheduled Monday through Friday. Occasional scheduled evening shoots may be required to capture completed outdoor lighting installations.

Key Responsibilities

Field Content Production

• Photograph and film contractors installing LeonLite indoor and outdoor lighting.
• Capture installation processes, before-and-after transformations, completed projects, product applications, and contractor-focused moments.
• Plan and execute content shoots independently at active jobsites.
• Coordinate with contractors, customers, and the marketing team before each shoot.
• Follow jobsite safety requirements and respect active crews and customer properties.

Studio and Post-Production

• Produce office- and showroom-based content, including product demonstrations, educational videos, brand stories, and studio-style product photography.
• Edit short-form videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar professional tools.
• Edit and retouch photography for social media and marketing use.
• Format content for Instagram Reels, Stories, carousels, and feed posts.
• Organize and maintain photo, video, and project files.

Publishing and Performance

• Write clear, benefit-driven captions for contractors and lighting professionals.
• Assist with content scheduling and campaign planning.
• Monitor basic content performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain a consistent LeonLite brand voice and visual style.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on product launches, promotions, and ongoing campaigns.

Requirements

• At least two years of professional experience as a Social Media Content Creator, Content Producer, Photographer/Videographer, or in a similar role.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating photography, videography, editing, and visual storytelling skills.
• Experience producing short-form vertical video for Instagram or similar platforms.
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or comparable editing software.
• Strong understanding of composition, lighting, pacing, and visual storytelling.
• Excellent written English for captions and marketing copy.
• Comfortable working independently at active construction jobsites.
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple content projects.
• Ability to work full-time from our Eastvale location and travel to local jobsites.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for business-related travel.
• Availability for occasional scheduled evening shoots.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating content for lighting, construction, architecture, home improvement, or contractor-focused brands.
• Basic graphic design skills.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or Illustrator.
• Familiarity with Instagram analytics and social media scheduling tools.
• Experience interviewing contractors or appearing on camera.

Compensation and Benefits

• Full-time, hourly, non-exempt position.
• Pay range: $20 –$25 per hour, based on experience and portfolio.
