Founding Content Marketer
ActioneerAbout us
At Actioneer, we’re building a voice-first customer engagement platform. It helps enterprises give their customers intuitive, consumer-grade experiences. We work best in customer journeys with multiple parties and complex documents, such as insurance purchases, auto lending and RFIs.
We’re a small, well-capitalized team backed by investors like South Park Commons, Z47, Bitkraft and Sony Ventures. We believe everyone is an IC. Right now, every one of us can punch far above our weight.
About the role
We’re hiring a Content Marketing Manager to build and run our content on LinkedIn and our newsletter. You’ll make sure our buyers hear from us every week and remember us when they’re ready to buy.
Our buyers are US enterprises in regulated industries. Their deals involve several stakeholders and long cycles. Each person in the account will read a lot from us before they ever talk to Sales.
You’ll set the strategy and write most of the content yourself. You’ll work closely with the founders, Sales and Product. You’ll turn customer calls, product launches and industry news into pieces people want to read.
What you’ll own
- The content plan for LinkedIn and the newsletter, covering audience, topics and cadence.
- A newsletter that goes out on schedule and grows its subscribers and opens among target accounts.
- Long-form pieces and breakdowns of customer journeys and AI implementation in enterprise.
- LinkedIn posts for the company page and the founders’ accounts
What we’re looking for
- You write well, especially at length. You have long-form pieces you’re proud of.
- You’ve grown an audience from zero (A company newsletter, a LinkedIn profile or your own blog)
- You can explain a complex process, like impact of tool-call level permissions, to a busy executive.
- You test formats and topics, read the numbers and drop what doesn’t work.
- You have 3+ years in B2B content roles, mostly at Seed to Series B companies.
This role isn’t for you if
- You mostly edit or manage freelancers and don’t write much yourself.
- You’ve only written short social posts.
- You need a detailed brief before you can start.
How to apply
Send 2 to 3 pieces of 1,500 words or more, plus a link to your LinkedIn or newsletter.
