Content Creator - TEMP

Gold's Gym is looking for a versatile Content Creator (Temp) to join our Creative team on a full-time, 6-month contract supporting Gold's Gym social channels. This role edits and shoots monthly social content, covers overflow event coverage, and works alongside the Senior Content Creator and Creative Director to keep our social output consistent, efficient, and on-brand.

This is a hands-on editing and production role. The ideal candidate is comfortable running solo shoots, turning around fast edits for social, and traveling locally occasionally to support gym locations and events.

• Shoot monthly social content for Gold's Gym at gym locations, including some travel to markets outside DFW

• Edit all monthly social content for Gold's Gym channels (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube) on a recurring production schedule

• Provide overflow shooting and editing support for events, in coordination with and support of the Senior Content Creator

• Participate in and contribute meaningfully to creative brainstorms and concept development for brand social content

• Manage own shoot logistics: gear checks, call sheets, location coordination, and asset organization/delivery

• Collaborate with the Creative Director and Senior Content Creator on requests

• Maintain brand and platform-specific best practices across all deliverables

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of professional video shooting and editing experience, ideally in social-first content

• Strong technical shooting skills: DSLR/mirrorless capture, basic lighting and audio setup

• Own lens kit, external monitor, and audio/mic setup compatible with a professional camera package preferred

• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects a plus); comfortable with a fast-turnaround editing workflow

• Working knowledge of what performs on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts

• Able to work independently on solo shoots and manage own equipment and travel logistics

• Reliable, organized, and collaborative; comfortable taking direction from the Creative Director and Senior Content Creator

• Ability to manage multiple projects and industry-standard project management tools like Asana.

• Valid driver's license; able to travel occasionally within the DFW market and select out-of-market shoots

• Fitness industry, sports, or gym content experience a plus, not required

• Motion design and animation experience (After Effects) a plus
