The Digital Marketing Strategist (DMS) is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing digital marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, drive patient acquisition, support fundraising initiatives, and strengthen engagement across CommuniCare and its affiliated brands. The DMS manages digital campaigns across websites, social media, paid advertising, email marketing, SEO, and analytics while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals. The DMS is a strategic, data-driven marketer with strong technical expertise, content creation skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Develops, executes, and optimizes integrated digital marketing campaigns across multiple brands and service lines to support patient acquisition, fundraising, community engagement, and organizational growth objectives.

2. Manages all social media channels, including content strategy, publishing, community engagement, reputation management, paid advertising, and performance analysis utilizing platforms such as Meta Ads Manager and social media management tools.

3. Maintains and optimizes organizational websites and landing pages, including content updates, basic HTML/CSS edits, SEO implementation, user experience enhancements, and website performance monitoring.

4. Creates, edits, and publishes high-quality digital content, including website copy, blogs, email campaigns, photography, graphics, video content, and digital advertisements.

5. Develops and manages email marketing campaigns and marketing automation initiatives utilizing Mailchimp or similar platforms, including audience segmentation, workflow creation, testing, and optimization.

6. Monitors, analyzes, and reports on digital marketing performance across websites, advertising platforms, social media, and email campaigns, providing data-driven recommendations to improve results and return on investment.

7. Collaborates with organizational leadership, clinic directors, vendors, and cross-functional teams to coordinate marketing initiatives, manage project timelines, and ensure successful campaign execution.

8. Supports fundraising, special events, community outreach initiatives, and organizational communications through strategic digital marketing efforts and content development.

9. Serves as a digital marketing subject matter expert by staying current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices while identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.

10. Performs other duties as assigned.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field required 

Minimum four (4) years’ experience in a digital marketing position in a dynamic and fast paced environment 

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

Experience with web design and/or graphics design software applications such as WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and Canva preferred

Experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and other Google management software

Experience with Meta Ads Manager and/or other advertising management software

Experience with video editing software to produce marketing videos

Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Typing of at least 50 wpm 

Some knowledge of local media helpful

Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters

Ability to handle all personnel matters discretely

Ability to maintain professionalism when dealing with employees and visitors of the Center

Very adaptive; ability to work on multiple projects concurrently is essential

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:

Finger Dexterity: Using fingers to make small movements such as typing or picking up small objects.

Talking: Frequently conveying detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, clearly, or quickly.

Hearing: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.

Repetitive Motions: Frequently and regularly using the wrists, hands, and fingers.

Visual:  Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or other materials.

Physical: Sedentary work; sitting most of the time.  May have to lift folders, files, papers, audio/video equipment, and other such items weighing up to approximately 25 lbs.
