Company Description

For more than 20 years, KordaMentha has supported businesses through some of their most complex matters and opportunities. Founder owned and led; we are an advisory firm that helps corporations, financiers, lawyers, private investors and government clients to grow, protect and recover value.

That’s what we do, but it’s how we do this that makes us who we are.

Proudly independent, strategically local, and with a bias for action to get things done, we focus on doing what is right by our clients, our people, and the wider community. Our track record shows that we help navigate the best path forward in challenging times, and do so across cities, regions and territories.

In the most stressful or demanding environments, we continue to drive change where it really counts.

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded CRM Lead to join our Marketing team and play a key role in managing, optimising and evolving our firmwide CRM capability.

In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, governance and optimisation of the firm’s CRM platform, including the creation of contacts, lists, campaigns, EDMs and customer journeys. You will lead segmentation and personalisation activity to deliver more tailored, effective and engaging client and prospect experiences.

Working closely with Marketing, Design and teams across our offices, you will support the effective use of CRM across the firm, helping to lift adoption, improve data quality and enable high-quality CRM campaigns that support client engagement, business development and prospecting activity.

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee the administration, governance and optimisation of the CRM platform to support best practice, data integrity and a positive user experience.
  • Build and manage end-to-end CRM marketing campaigns, including customer journeys, event communications, marketing and transactional automations.
  • Act as the firm’s marketing CRM subject matter expert, providing guidance on CRM functionality, email best practice, campaign tracking, customer journeys and marketing automation.
  • Lead CRM-driven event management activity, including event set-up, registrations, attendee communications, reporting and closure processes.
  • Lead and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights, Journeys and CRM platform enhancements, upgrades and new capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain audience segmentation strategies to support targeted marketing, business development and client engagement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement and system optimisation to improve efficiency, consistency and user experience.
  • Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot CRM automations, customer journeys and platform processes, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Develop CRM training materials, process documentation and user guidance to support adoption and best-practice use across the firm.
  • Lead CRM data quality initiatives, including data cleansing, duplicate management, governance activities and ongoing improvement of data standards.

Qualifications

You are a hands-on CRM specialist who enjoys combining technical capability with stakeholder engagement, data integrity and campaign optimisation. You are comfortable working autonomously, but also enjoy collaborating with others to deliver practical, high-quality outcomes.

You will bring:

  • At least 3 years’ CRM experience.
  • Strong CRM campaign build, monitoring, optimisation and reporting skills.
  • A strong understanding of channel management and CRM best practice.
  • Analytical capability, with the ability to interpret data and metrics to develop actionable insights and recommendations for campaign optimisation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 reporting and integration.
  • A solid understanding of relevant regulations and best practices for compliance in CRM operations, including the Spam Act and NCPF.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously while also supporting team members as required.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.

Experience working in a financial services or professional services environment, particularly in a B2B context, will be highly regarded.
