Job Description

As part of Nine Publishing, you will join the home of Australia’s premier news mastheads, including The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, The Australian Financial Review, Brisbane Times, and WAtoday.

The CRM Executive is the technical engine room of our automated marketing team, driving hands-on campaign execution across key stages of the subscriber lifecycle in this 12-month contract role. Working within MoEngage, you will build, test, and deploy dynamic journeys that optimize reader retention across digital platforms. Operating as a crucial quality checkpoint, you will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure error-free customer communications.

Day to day you will:

  • Build, test, and deploy automated journeys and omni-channel campaigns within MoEngage.
  • Collaborate with Lifecycle Leads to design responsive journeys that react in real time to reader behaviours.
  • Format email design layouts, populate copy variations, and configure dynamic personalisations.
  • Conduct rigorous pre-launch QA checks to catch formatting, link, and rendering errors.
  • Roll out A/B experiments and monitor active journey health, delivery, and performance.
  • Run data validations and campaign reporting to audit and enhance overall lifecycle journey effectiveness.

What you'll bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in customer marketing, CRM, or data-driven lifecycle execution.
  • Proven hands-on proficiency building, testing, and deploying campaigns in enterprise tools like MoEngage or Braze.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a knack for identifying formatting, spacing, and link bugs quickly.
  • Strong logical problem-solving ability and a solid understanding of data segmentation rules.
  • Excellent organisation skills to balance daily execution tasks across multiple lifecycle portfolios smoothly.
  • Highly effective communication skills with a collaborative approach to partnering across cross-functional teams.
