The mission of the YouTube Host & Content Creator is to be the face of Vendasta's YouTube channel, creating high-quality, engaging video content that helps agencies and SMBs understand digital transformation and AI adoption. The incumbent of this role demonstrates strong, natural on-camera presence, scripting proficiency, and an experimental mindset with generative AI and will be responsible for hosting and presenting video content, writing original scripts, and translating long-form videos into high-performing short-form social clips.

What You’ll Own

On-Camera & YouTube Content:

• Host and present engaging YouTube videos that make complex digital and software concepts to capture and retain our audience's attention. Write and develop original scripts, bringing your unique voice and perspective to execution briefs. Execute routine content production tasks using predefined prompts and AI workflows to accelerate scripting, research, and ideation. 

Product Education & AI Optimization:

• Own the video layer of Vendasta’s product education, turning complex features into actionable walkthroughs and demos. Experiment with day-to-day generative AI tools to rapidly outline, research, and tailor scripts to diverse user segments. Partner with Product and Customer Success teams to stay ahead of upcoming feature shipments and address customer pain points. 

Short-Form Distribution & Social Impact:

• Translate long-form YouTube videos into sharp, scroll-stopping clips for LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok. Adopt existing marketing workflows and lightweight AI tools to publish and repurpose content efficiently across social platforms. Analyze channel performance data and audience signals to iterate on trends, format adjustments, and creative concepts.

How We’ll Measure Success

Role Performance Metrics:

• Channel Growth & Engagement: Measurable increase in views, watch time, and subscriber growth on Vendasta's YouTube channel. 
• Efficiency Gains via AI Adoption: Documented reduction in scripting and production time through the execution of routine AI tool tasks. 
• High-Velocity Output (Stretch Target): Achievement of a 20–30% increase over baseline quarterly targets for shipping high-quality short-form and long-form video assets to evaluate next-level readiness. 
  

Team Performance Metrics:

• Total Social Reach & Follower Growth across LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok. 
• Product Feature Adoption Signals and customer satisfaction scores tied to video tutorials. 
• Overall reduction of manual video repurposing tasks through collaborative team workflows.
  
  
  

What You Bring to the Table

• 3–5 years of experience in content creation, broadcasting, journalism, teaching, or a related field: Preferably within a SaaS or technology environment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Communications, Marketing, Media, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and verbal formats
• Proven experience scripting and presenting engaging video content for YouTube, short-form platforms, or product education.
• Demonstrated hands-on execution of AI tasks using predefined prompts (e.g., Claude, Gemini) for day-to-day research and workflow automation.
• Tech-savvy aptitude to pick up new platforms quickly, with familiarity or willingness to learn developer-adjacent tools like Claude Code.
