About the Role
7th Avenue is seeking a Travel-Ready UGC Creator & Social Media Manager to join our growing content team on a freelance, project-based basis. Candidates should be based in New York City.
This role is ideal for a creator who thrives in fast-paced environments, is comfortable traveling 2-3x monthly, and has a strong eye for capturing premium lifestyle content. You'll create photo and video assets across our showroom locations nationwide, helping bring the 7th Avenue brand to life through engaging, social-first content.
This creator will serve as a key partner for showroom content production throughout select local markets with the opportunity to grow with the team and participate in our national brand campaigns headquartered in Los Angeles.
Working from detailed creative briefs and shot lists, you'll capture showroom tours, product demonstrations, lifestyle content, customer-focused storytelling, and paid social assets for use across TikTok, Instagram, Meta, YouTube, and other digital channels.

What You'll Do
- Travel to showroom locations as assigned throughout select U.S. markets (2-3x per month)
- Capture high-quality iPhone photo and video content
- Produce social-first content for organic and paid marketing channels
- Film showroom walkthroughs, product demonstrations, lifestyle content, and brand storytelling assets
- Ideate and / or follow detailed creative briefs, brand guidelines, and shot lists
- Deliver raw assets within 24 hours of each shoot
- Edit and deliver final content according to project requirements
- Collaborate with showroom teams and the 7th Avenue marketing team using company Slack
- Maintain a consistent visual style that aligns with brand standards

Monitor social media comments and DMs daily, ensuring a brand identity and escalating negative comments to the Customer Service team as needed
Qualifications
- Experience creating short-form social content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or Meta
- Strong iPhone photography and videography skills
- Comfortable appearing and speaking on camera when needed
- Strong understanding of social-first content trends and storytelling
- Ability to work independently and execute from a creative brief
- Reliable communication and quick turnaround times
- Experience with CapCut, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, or similar editing platforms preferred
- Willingness and availability to travel regularly for content production assignments

Compensation & Perks
- $3,000 - $4,000 monthly retainer + $1,500 per travel assignment
