Student - Admissions Social Media Ambassador

Are you an outgoing self-starter who loves to be on camera with a strong understanding of the social media space?

The Admissions team is looking for an energetic student passionate about promoting Newman University on social media to a prospective student audience. You will work directly with the Admissions Digital Marketing Manager to produce engaging content.

• Able to create compelling content
• Understand social media trends
• Strong public speakers

Work Performed:

• Develop, perform, and produce social media content for the Admissions Team.
• Promote the Newman Brand.
• Convey authentic enthusiasm.
• Interview current students, faculty, and staff.
• Produce classroom takeovers for various majors and programs.
• Produce How-To Videos.
• Take photos and videos on and off campus.
• Promote Admissions events, campus, and scholarships.
• Adhere to Newman University’s social media guidelines.

Requirements

• Be at least a half-time Newman University student
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexibility and adaptability for various projects
• Passionate about Newman University
• Respect for confidentiality and professionalism
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Hours Available:

5-15 hours. Additional hours may become available throughout the year for on-campus and off-campus events and promotions. Potential for weekend and evening shifts as recruitment events are scheduled.
