As a senior copywriter, you’ll craft meaningful and engaging copyYou’ll be the master storyteller as you develop powerful, high-level messages and conceptual ideas that connect with the right audience. In this position you will be held accountable to the following things;

  • Proofread/Edit​



What you’ll do 

  • Create original content for a wide variety of executions 
  • Lead, teach and mentor members of the creative department (writers and designers) 
  • Check all copy generated by team members and offer feedback 
  • Actively participate and contribute to brainstorming sessions to support the production of creative ideas 
  • Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal teams and clients  
  • Meet with clients to understand their vision of the product, service or brand. 
  • Actively participate and contribute to new business efforts 

 

What we need 

  • Self-motivation with exceptional management, written and analytical skills 
  • Effective team management capabilities 
  • Excellent time-management and multi-tasking skills 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills that will foster collaborative relationships with copywriters, graphic designers, art directors and account and project managers  
  • Ensure creative is executed within the strategydeadline and budget 
  • Strong research skills to ensure copy is correct and accurate 
  • Excellent presentation/pitch skills with great written and oral communication skills 

 

Where you have been  

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, communications or related discipline 
  • 5+ years in an agency environment, writing for full range of media 
  • A portfolio of published works 
  • Exceptional writing and research skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat Pro 

 

Responsible and accountable for 

  • Writing original copy and editing content 
  • Conduct research 
  • Lead, teach and mentor members of the creative department  
  • Meet with clients 
  • Contribute to new business efforts 
  • Deliver projects on time, on budget and to AdFarm’s standards 
  • Work collaboratively with AdFarm team members 
  • Continually grow and learn with AdFarm’s support 
  • Promote a creative culture throughout the agency and industry
