Social Media Representative

Join our Marketing team as a Social Media Representative and play a key role in shaping how guests experience our brand online. Job Summary: The Social Media Representative is responsible for overall management of social media channels, including maintaining posting schedules and daily posts to all applicable social media outlets, as well as coordinating the marketing, PR and entertainment calendars with online activity, tracking and creating reports on social media influence measurements, partnering with other departments to ensure proper online messaging and relevancy, ensuring consistency of messages across multiple channels/networks, preparing reports to update internal staff on usage statistics.

Illuminate Your Future: What You'll Do:

• Contributes to the design, revision, and execution of the social media strategy.
• Leads community management efforts, including social inbox monitoring assignments, best practices and quality checking.
• Creates engaging, branded content and campaigns for social media networks. Develop and provide relevant content daily to all applicable social media outlets.
• Coordinates the marketing calendar with online activity, partnering with other departments to ensure proper online messaging, timing, and relevancy. Ensure consistency of messages/brand across multiple social media networks. Provide continuous monitoring and coverage of all sites and relevant conversations.
• Leads organic social media reporting, sharing key metrics with internal stakeholders, external agency stakeholders, and internal clients. Responsible for ongoing optimization to improve social metrics and increase effectiveness of campaigns.
• Plans, executes and captures live content of social media activations at open to the public events, offsite events as needed and includes influencer activations.
• Coordinates day-of promotional PR, influencer marketing and social media for public events and functions as main point of contact for influencers on-property.
• Supports PR and influencer marketing operations, including scheduling, task assignment and asset requests.
• Partners with paid media and PR agencies to ensure continuity between organic, paid and earned media

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications or related field and 3+ years of experience in social media marketing, reporting, content creation and community management in an agency or enterprise environment.
• Possess a strong understanding (purpose, use, analytics etc.) of social media and marketing platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent organizational skills
