The Social Media Planner bridges creative storytelling and data analytics. You will analyze consumer behavior, map target audiences, allocate media budgets, and leverage self-serve ad platforms to achieve brand or performance objectives. Davis Elen is seeking a skilled social media planner to work alongside a highly skilled social media team to build social media campaigns that capture prospects’ attention and engage existing customers.

Responsibilities

  • Campaign Strategy: Build comprehensive paid social media plans aligned with client goals, target demographics, and KPIs.
  • Media Execution: Set up, launch, and manage ad campaigns across social networks (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, YouTube Shorts).
  • Budget Management: Monitor daily/monthly media spending, manage bids, and ensure strict adherence to allocated budgets.
  • Performance Optimization: Track real-time campaign metrics, conduct A/B testing on ad creatives and audiences, and optimize ongoing campaigns for lower cost-per-acquisition (CPA).
  • Reporting & Analysis: Use tools like Google Analytics and native platform insights to build performance reports and present strategic insights to stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with creative teams to ensure ad copy and visual assets match campaign goals, and work with media buyers or account managers

Skills and qualifications

  • Experience: 1-2 years of digital marketing experience, with a proven track record specifically in paid social media planning and buying.
  • Platform Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, and Google Ads for Shorts
  • Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in data analysis, interpreting platform metrics, Excel, and Google Analytics.
  • Communication: Exceptional presentation and relationship-building skills to pitch strategies to clients and collaborate internally.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
