We are seeking a proactive and organized Bilingual (English/Spanish) Social Media &

Marketing Assistant to join Amtex Media, the in-house marketing team for Amtex Insurance.

This is a full-time, in-office role for someone who understands social media strategy, publishing,

analytics, brand storytelling, and short-form content.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

Work Setting: In office

Compensation: $18–$20 per hour. Compensation may be negotiable for candidates with

relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

● Plan, maintain, and execute weekly and monthly social media content calendars.

● Schedule and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and

YouTube.

● Appear in or assist with on-camera content when needed.

● Capture short-form iPhone video content for social media.

● Increase engagement and develop strategies to attract new followers and expand brand

awareness.

● Monitor performance and prepare reports covering engagement, reach, follower growth,

views, clicks, leads, and other KPIs.

● Use analytics to improve content, publishing schedules, and campaign performance.

● Write social media captions, promotional copy, and marketing emails.

● Occasionally communicates with regional managers, office managers, agents, and other

departments.

● Coordinate with content creators, designers, agents, and office managers to ideate

content.

● Pitch ideas for campaigns, promotions, community initiatives, events, and seasonal

content.

● Attend and help coordinate events for office openings, community events, sponsorships,

and company activities.

● Organize, transport, set up, and distribute marketing collateral, event materials,

promotional items, signage, and supplies with the team if needed.

● Stay current with industry trends, platform updates, social media formats, and best

practices in insurance marketing.

● Monitor comments, messages, reviews, mentions, and other audience interactions.

● Support additional marketing projects and department needs as assigned.

Required Qualifications

● 0 - 4 years of professional social media or marketing experience.

● Comfortable appearing in content.

● Proven experience managing business social media accounts preferred.

● Bilingual English and Spanish skills are required.

● Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media strategy, and brand storytelling.

● Experience maintaining content calendars and managing consistent publishing

schedules.

● Proficiency with social media management, scheduling, and analytics tools.

● Confident in shooting UGC-style and trend-based content using an iPhone.

● Strong writing, editing, grammar, and communication skills.

● Ability to review analytics and turn performance data into practical recommendations.

● Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

● Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google Business

Profile, and Apple Business Connect.

● Familiarity with project management CRM tools like ClickUp, Linear, Notion or other.

● Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or other design platforms.

● Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or a related field, or

currently pursuing a related degree.

● Must be available to work in-office Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

● Willingness to travel for on-site content creation at any of our 85+ Texas locations and

company events as needed.

● Reliable transportation and occasional weekend availability.

● Ability to lift, carry, move, and organize marketing materials, event supplies, signage, and

promotional items as needed.
