The Opportunity

We are looking for a knowledgeable, savvy and experienced Social Media Manager to work with us on a contractor basis to level up our video content. If you know what makes content go viral, love editing punchy short-form videos, and enjoy teaching others how to shoot great footage, this is the role for you!

This role offers a flexible setup of 8 hours a week, combining the opportunity for remote editing and virtual workshop sessions, with ad-hoc in-person filming sessions in Perth.

What You'll Be Doing

• Staff Up-Skilling: Coaching and up-skilling our internal team on filming techniques, lighting, framing, and short-form video best practices.
• Video Editing: Transforming raw footage into polished, TikTok-ready videos using storyboards, creative briefs, and inspiration videos provided by our team.
• Content Creation: Joining our founder, Sam (and occasionally staff) for ad-hoc, in-person filming sessions in Perth as required to capture and edit content for his personal socials.
• Content Ideation: Pitching relevant-to-brand content ideas and drafting storyboards for execution.

What We're Looking For

Essential

• You live and breathe TikTok and know exactly what makes content engage, trend, and convert.
• Ability to guide and train non-creatives on basic camera and filming techniques.
• Strong short-form video editing skills with a proven record of creating high-quality TikToks/Reels.
• Familiarity with current TikTok trends, popular audio, and platform-native editing styles (CapCut etc.).

Ideal

• A portfolio or link to past TikTok accounts/videos you’ve edited or managed.
