Department Overview

Our Brand, Creative and Customer Experience team is looking for a trend-obsessed, data-informed Social Media Manager to own our brand’s digital presence. This isn't just about posting pictures; it’s about building a community, sparking conversations, and staying three steps ahead of the ever-changing algorithm.

In this role, you will be the face and voice of our brand across all social platforms, turning our brand strategy into "scroll-stopping" content. You will lead a team that drives awareness and produces thumb stopping content.

Job Description

• Content Creation & Curation: Concept, script, and produce high-quality social content (specifically short-form video like Reels/TikTok) that resonates with our target audience.
• Community Management: Actively engage with our community. This means responding to comments, managing DMs, and fostering a "human" connection with our followers.
• Social Strategy: Develop and execute a platform-specific strategy that balances brand awareness, community growth, and traffic goals.
• Social Listening: Monitor industry trends, competitor moves, and cultural moments to ensure our brand remains relevant and timely.
• Reporting & Insights: Analyze weekly and monthly performance metrics to identify what’s working, what isn’t, and how we can optimize for ROI.

Qualifications:

• Platform Expertise: You know the nuances of TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and X inside and out—you don’t just use them; you understand their "vibe."
• Strategic Wit: You have a knack for finding the intersection between a viral trend and our brand's unique value proposition.
• Analytical Mind: You aren't afraid of the "Insights" tab. You can translate data into an actionable plan.
• Excellent project management skills; organized and able to multitask and work under short deadlines.
• High energy: a desire to learn and a drive to excel.
• Passionate and motivated team player.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Demo reel/portfolio required, demonstrating social media strategy and cutting edge engagements.

Target Base Salary Range: $110,000-$115,000 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

Basic Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in social media and 1+ years of management/leading a team
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position. (GC/CITIZEN ONLY)
