Blazesoft is seeking a Social Media Manager to join its marketing division.

Blazesoft is a global gaming and digital entertainment company, and its marketing division delivers a full suite of marketing services to internal brands and external clients across the US, LATAM, and Europe.

This is a hands on role with ownership of how one or two of our brands communicate with players across two core channels: social media and email marketing. The successful candidate will shape brand voice, plan campaigns and content, write copy, support creator activity, and use performance data to understand what is working and what should change. Strong social media experience, writing ability, and creative judgment are the core requirements for this role. Experience with email marketing is an asset, and training will be provided on our email platforms and processes.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media

• Own the social media calendar and content direction for one or two brands, including what gets made, for which platform, and why.

• Help shape and maintain a distinct voice and tone for each brand.

• Write social copy and develop content ideas across relevant platforms.

• Plan contests, giveaways, and community activations designed to drive participation, engagement, and registrations.

• Work with internal creative resources and relevant creators to develop content, briefs, and campaign assets that fit the brand and audience.

• Stay current on social trends, platform changes, gaming culture, and relevant opportunities for the brands.

Email Marketing

• Own the email marketing calendar and messaging for your brands, including promotions, launches, events, offers, and player reengagement.

• Write email copy and subject lines that reflect the brand's voice and encourage players to take action.

• Work with internal teams on audience targeting, offers, campaign requirements, and scheduling.

• Test subject lines, messaging, timing, and offers, and use the results to improve future campaigns.

Performance and Reporting

• Report on social media and email performance, including engagement, audience growth, registrations, and customer acquisition.

• Use performance data to identify what is working, what should change, and what to test next.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience in social media, digital marketing, brand communications, or a related marketing role.

• Hands on social media experience, including content planning, copywriting, publishing, and performance analysis.

• Strong written English and the ability to adapt voice and messaging across different brands, audiences, and channels.

• Strong creative and editorial judgment with an understanding of what makes content engaging and relevant.

• Comfortable using performance data to make decisions and improve campaigns.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage one or two brands and overlapping campaigns.

• Experience with email marketing, influencers, content creators, or paid social campaigns is an asset.

• Experience in gaming, social casino, iGaming, sports betting, entertainment, or another digital consumer brand is an asset.

Benefits

• Competitive salary and performance based bonus opportunities.

• Comprehensive health benefits including dental, vision, and prescription coverage.

• Group retirement plan with RRSP matching.

• Paid training and professional development opportunities.

• Holiday parties, anniversary celebrations, and weekly Happy Friday lunches.

• Modern on site office with leisure facilities and parking.
