ABOUT THE ROLE:
DS+CO is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to support social media execution across our agency channels and a diverse portfolio of client brands.
In this role, you’ll help bring social strategies to life through content scheduling, publishing, community management, trend research, reporting and content support. You’ll work across multiple accounts and platforms, helping the social team keep day-to-day work organized, timely and connected to what’s happening in culture.
This is a hands-on role for someone who understands how people use social media, what makes content resonate and how brands can show up in ways that feel relevant, thoughtful and platform-native.
THIS ROLE IS IDEAL FOR SOMEONE WHO:
- Lives and breathes internet culture and understands what makes content engaging.
- Is organized, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities.
- Enjoys collaborating with strategists, designers, writers, media and account teams.
- Is both creative and analytical, with curiosity about trends, performance and what drives engagement.
- Embraces future-ready skills like AI/Digital Literacy, Critical Thinking, Self-Management, Data Analysis, Creativity and Leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the planning, scheduling and publishing of social content across multiple platforms, client accounts and DS+CO-owned channels
- Assist with content creation, including captions, short-form video ideas, trend-based content and community-first storytelling
- Monitor social channels, engage with audiences and flag questions, comments, trends or issues that may need internal or client input
- Stay current on social trends, platform updates, emerging creators and best practices
- Track social media performance and assist with reporting, insights and content optimization
- Partner with strategy, creative, media and account teams to support integrated campaign execution
- Manage timelines, approvals and day-to-day social needs with organization, accuracy and follow-through
- Bring DS+CO’s values of Curiosity, Community and Courage to life in your work, communication and problem solving
Must have:
- 1–3 years of experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, communications or a related field
- Strong understanding of major social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube
- Experience creating or supporting short-form social content
- Familiarity with social scheduling, reporting and analytics tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- A proactive mindset with curiosity, accountability and willingness to learn in a constantly evolving social landscape
