The position of Social Media Content Creator is to create, publish, and manage content across all social media channels for Spartan Education Group and reports to the Content Director. In this role, you will capture, produce, and edit photo and short-form video content (from campus events to everyday student life) and manage the planning, scheduling, and publishing of posts across all platforms. You will collaborate with the video editor, graphic designer, and campus staff to develop compelling stories and social-first content, while tracking performance and staying ahead of platform and algorithm changes. The ability to independently seek out and generate content, as well as work collaboratively across teams, is critical to success in this role. We work in a fast-paced market that occasionally requires irregular work hours and quick turnarounds, so flexibility is essential.

Regularly required to sit for extended periods while editing content and managing social platforms, may also stand or walk periodically especially when filming or capturing content on-site. Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, camera equipment, and mobile devices. Close vision for reviewing photo/video content, editing on screens, and proofreading texts. Ability to communicate clearly in person, by phone, and on video for interviews, and staff coordination. Ability to move around campus or event spaces to capture content, which may include walking on uneven surfaces, climbing stairs, or brief exposure to outdoor conditions. Frequent travel may be required to surrounding campuses, minimal travel required to off-site events.
