Essential Duties / Responsibilities

  • Content Management: Monitor and engage with comments, direct messages, mentions, tags, and user-generated content, providing timely responses and identifying opportunities to strengthen audience relationships.
  • Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement organic and paid social media strategies for Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel, Crescent Market, and other Tribal enterprises, aligning with business objectives.
  • Event Coverage: Attend casino events, including evening and weekends, to engage digital audiences through live social media, Q&As, and real-time updates.
  • Reputation Management: Oversee online reputation across platforms such as Google Reviews, Yelp, Glassdoor, and social media, escalating feedback as necessary and ensuring a positive brand image.
  • Strategic Growth: Identify and leverage strategic opportunities to achieve growth goals and engage with key audiences, enhancing brand presence and loyalty.
  • Content Calendar & Analytics: Develop a monthly content calendar aligned with business objectives and regularly provide analytics and reports to track social media performance and ROI.
  • Paid Social: Coordinate, execute, monitor, and optimize paid social campaigns, including audience targeting, creative testing, budget management, and performance reporting.
  • Creative Content Production: Produce engaging multimedia content, including video, photography, and graphics, tailored to the unique standards of each social media platform.
  • Promotional Contests: Coordinate social media contests, giveaways, and promotional ticket allocation, ensuring compliance with official rules.
  • Department Collaboration: Communicate with other departments to produce effective social media marketing and promotion for specific products, services, and events.
  • Marketing Initiatives: Actively assist with and contribute to a wide range of marketing initiatives, including but not limited to promotions, giveaways, event marketing, creative design efforts, and monitoring digital performance metrics.
  • Event Supervision: Provide oversight and supervision of event staff during marketing-related events; oversee outside vendors when applicable.
  • Trend & Platform Management: Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, emerging technologies, algorithm changes, and competitive activity, recommending opportunities to improve brand relevance and performance.
  • Brand Alignment: Maintain a consistent brand voice, visual identity, and guest experience across social channels while adapting content to the expectations and capabilities of each platform.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field. An additional two (2) years of applicable experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Two (2) years of full-time social media management or digital marketing experience.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Content Creation & Storytelling: Strong ability to create engaging, platform-specific content, with a passion for staying current on social medica trends and audience engagement strategies.
  • Reat-Time Interaction: Proven experience engaging with audiences through live events, real-time Q&As, and immediate updates on promotions and events.
  • Visual Content Proficiency: Skilled in photography, video creation, and composition, with expertise in iPhone camera features and editing applications.
  • Crisis & Reputation Management: Capable of handling sensitive situations and crises in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment, with strong online reputation management skills.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build strong internal and external relationships.
  • Organizational & Time Management: Highly organized, with strong time management skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changes and priorities.
  • Analytical & Reporting Skills: Proficient in measuring and reporting on performance metrics to assess the impact of social media efforts.
  • Creative Problem Solving: Innovative mindset with a data-driven approach, focused on continuous improvement and creative solutions for content and engagement strategies.

Preferred

Education and Experience:

  • Casino, Gaming, or Hospitality Experience: Familiarity with the casino, gaming, or hospitality industry, with a strong understanding of typical products, services, and customer demographics.
  • Event Promotion Expertise: Experience promoting hotel and casino events, including live shots, gaming tournaments, and special guest appearances, through social media.
  • Customer Service and Reputation Management: Proven background in online customer service and reputation management, with the ability to resolve customer issues effectively and in real-time via social media.

Snoqualmie Casino exercises Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO). You must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant for positions in any department other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I). DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.
