About Avarra

Avarra is the AI experts platform for go to market. Our AI experts prep reps before calls, join them live, coach the follow-through, and greet buyers on your website.

We are building a future where AI enhances and extends the real people on a team. Agents are not humans, but they can make humans better.

We are backed by Lightspeed, whose portfolio includes Anthropic, Navan, Netskope, Wiz and Ramp. Our platform runs inside some of the largest companies in the US.

The role

Our distribution runs "through" our customers instead of "to" them. Our CEO posts. Our AEs post. Our customers post. You are the person who makes that machine run. You also build the proof it runs on, which is the other half of this job.

Customer marketing is that other half. The advisory board, the references and the case studies are what make any of the posting worth reading. You own both sides, and you will ghostwrite for executives while also building the advocacy program that supplies the stories.

Most people are strong at one of these. We are looking for someone who wants to do both, because at our size they are the same job.

You report to the Head of Marketing. We expect to hire a VP of Marketing later this year, so there is real room to grow.

What you'll do

  • Run the company LinkedIn presence day to day, including the comment and reply layer that most companies ignore.
  • Ghostwrite for our CEO and other executives. You will sit on calls, mine real transcripts and write in their voice, not a generic one.
  • Own our Customer Advisory Board. Recruit members, run the quarterly sessions and make the advocacy asks worth their time.
  • Build the reference and case study engine. Source stories from customer calls, get them approved, and turn them into assets sales actually uses.
  • Run the posting program across employees, customers and investors, including the briefs and guides that make it easy for people to say yes.
  • Own customer communications that are not demand gen: launch announcements, upsell stories, gifting and community moments.
  • Keep the editorial calendar honest about what is ready, and report on engagement quality and downstream pipeline rather than follower counts.

What you bring

  • Three or more years across social and customer marketing at a B2B company, ideally one selling to sales or revenue teams.
  • Real ghostwriting range. You can write a post that sounds like a specific person and be told it is not quite right without flinching.
  • Experience getting a customer to say yes to a case study, a reference call or a quote, and then getting it through their legal or comms team.
  • A strong ear for copy that does not sound like AI wrote it. No em-dashes, no "it's not X, it's Y", no corporate throat-clearing.
  • Judgment about what is safe to publish. We do not overclaim numbers and we verify customer anecdotes before print.
  • Comfort moving fast on a small team where you own the result, not just the draft.

Nice to have

  • You have stood up a customer advisory board from scratch.
  • You are good on camera or behind one, and can produce short video without a full agency.
  • You have run a coordinated multi-week posting plan across dozens of people for a launch.
  • You have worked alongside customer success and know how to ask for advocacy without straining the relationship.

How we work

We ship early and learn from real usage. We give straightforward feedback. We take responsibility for outcomes, not output. We are remote and we value what you produce over the hours you sit online.

Compensation

$120,000 to $150,000 base, plus equity. Final offer depends on experience.
