About the faculty and department
Honors Bachelor of Business Administration program is designed to equip students with a robust foundation in business, preparing them for success in a dynamic, evolving marketplace and a highly interconnected digital economy.
About The Position
The HBBA program invites applications for a sessional instructor position to teach Social Media and Audience Research (BUSI 324).
Per course rate: $7,200 (paid in installments)
Term by Term Basis - 1 Year contract Employment Contract
Duties And Responsibilities
- Attend weekly lectures and review course material
- Lecture and teach students in a variety of delivery modes, creating an inclusive learning environment
- Design and deliver course content on social media strategy, audience analytics, and digital marketing research methodologies
- Invigilate quizzes, tests & exams; complete grading of quizzes, tests, assignments & exams
- Meet with or respond to students' inquiries during office hours
- Update course materials and grades on internal software
- Incorporate real-world social media campaigns and audience research case studies into course delivery
- Mentor students in developing audience research skills and social media strategy competencies
The Successful Candidate Will Have The Following Education And Experience:
- A Master's degree or Ph.D. in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- Teaching experience in organizational behavior, leadership development, human resources management, business strategy, or digital marketing at the undergraduate or graduate level.
- Professional experience in social media strategy, audience research, digital analytics, marketing communications, or organizational development to enhance student learning through real-life scenarios and case studies.
- Demonstrated expertise in social media platforms, audience segmentation, consumer behavior analysis, and digital communication strategies.
- Previous teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level is a significant asset.
- Curriculum development experience for on-site, online, and hybrid delivery.
- Ability to mentor and advise students in their academic and professional endeavors.

- Demonstrates expertise in contemporary social media trends, audience research methodologies, and digital communication best practices.
