Social Media

The Opportunity

We're hiring a Senior Social Media Manager to lead social strategy and execution across a growing roster of national brands, from wine, spirits, beverage, CPG, lifestyle, and beyond.

You'll own the social program for your accounts end to end: shaping strategy, guiding the team that brings it to life, and partnering with clients as a trusted advisor. This is a player-coach role for someone who still loves getting into the work and who wants to help build the team and processes behind it as social, digital, and media become even more central to how we grow brands.

Who You Are

  • You think in platforms and culture, and you can connect a trend to a brand's business goals.
  • You lead with strategy and back it up with data.
  • You're a confident presenter, comfortable being the social lead in the room with clients.
  • You develop people, giving clear direction, honest feedback, and room to grow.
  • You stay organized and calm while managing multiple brands, calendars, and deadlines at once.
  • You lead without ego and are energized by getting into the work, not just directing it.

Qualifications

Social Strategy & Planning

  • Lead development of social strategies for client accounts, including platform mix, content pillars, audience, and the role of each channel.
  • Translate brand strategy and campaign ideas into always-on and campaign-based social programs.
  • Stay ahead of platform changes, emerging channels, and cultural trends, and bring that thinking to clients and internal teams.
  • Contribute social strategy and thinking to new business pitches.

Content & Creative Leadership

  • Guide content calendar development and ensure work is on-brand, on-strategy, and platform-native.
  • Partner with our creative, photography, and video teams on short-form video, shoots, and content capture.
  • Review and elevate copy, creative, and community responses before they go live.

Influencer & Community

  • Shape influencer and creator programs, identification through activation and reporting.
  • Set community management standards, response protocols, and issue escalation.

Paid Social Integration

  • Partner with media and digital strategy teams to align organic and paid social, including audience strategy, boosting, and testing.

Measurement & Reporting

  • Own social performance reporting for your accounts, turning data into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Define KPIs and benchmarks with clients, and use testing to continuously improve results.

Team Leadership & Client Partnership

  • Manage, mentor, and develop social media managers, coordinators, and specialists.
  • Serve as the primary social point of contact for clients, presenting strategy, results, and recommendations.
  • Build and refine social workflows, tools, and best practices across the agency.
  • Collaborate with account, creative, strategy, and digital teams to keep social aligned with client business goals.

What we are looking for

  • 4-6 years of social media experience, including 1+ years leading people or programs; agency experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record building and leading social strategies for multiple brands at once.
  • Deep knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, and emerging platforms.
  • Experience with influencer and creator marketing and with integrating organic and paid social.
  • Hands-on experience with social management and analytics tools (Sprout Social, Later, Meta Business Suite, etc.).
  • Strong writing, presentation, and client-facing communication skills.
  • Nice to have: wine, spirits, beverage, or CPG experience; familiarity with alcohol advertising guidelines; Meta certifications; experience with monday.com or similar project management tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
