Senior Social Media Manager
MittiWhy join us?
Mitti by SafetyCulture is a global tech company, just not the kind you're picturing. Our almost 1,000-person team builds tools that make work better for the three billion frontline workers who keep the world moving. We've got big tech scale, without the sign-off layers or corporate theatre. This next chapter is about scaling smart, powered by AI, a clear vision and real ownership.
Big tech impact, without the big tech ick.
This role is an exciting opportunity for a creative storyteller to bring Mitti's mission to life for a global audience. You'll work on innovative social and content plays, including a founder-led YouTube channel and iconic sponsorships like the Australian Open. It's the right fit for someone with deep craft in social media, a passion for storytelling, and a drive to take ownership and create content that moves the needle.
Role purpose
This role exists to make Mitti unmissable on social for a global audience. You will own Mitti's social media strategy and brand channels end to end, turning product, customer, partner and founder stories into social-first content that grows our audience and drives measurable business results.
What you'll do
- Own Mitti's global social media strategy and keep it current, aligned to brand and business objectives, adjusting channels, content pillars and targets as platforms and the business change
- Grow our presence on LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and X, putting effort where our audience and growth are
- Come up with social-first ideas and campaigns drawn from customer insights, product releases, partners and founder content
- Brief production teams so social cutdowns are planned up front and captured on the shoot. Shoot your own content too, and know what needs full production and what doesn’t
- Work with the team behind our founder-led YouTube channel so long-form content gets cut and shared across our channels on purpose
- Run our creator and influencer program and partner social, including the Australian Open and motorsport
- Plan and optimise paid social with our Digital Media team, including video-first brand work on Meta and YouTube and thought leadership on LinkedIn
- Run employee advocacy and help executives build their LinkedIn presence and our employer brand
- Own a live dashboard tracking audience growth, impressions, video views and engagement, and report regularly to marketing leadership. Judge performance on quality and conversion, not clicks alone
- Lead community management for our brand channels, including calls on sensitive or negative comments
What you'll bring
- Deep, current craft across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube (Shorts and long-form) and X, and a clear sense of what performs where
- A track record of growing audiences and delivering campaigns that land, ideally in tech or an agency
- The ability to shoot your own social content and work with an experienced video team
- Strong storytelling, from the first insight through to visually engaging, platform-native output
- Experience planning and optimising paid social, measured through reach, views and brand lift
- Fluency with social management tools and analytics, and the habit of turning metrics into actions and dashboards leaders actually use
- Experience working with creators, influencers and brand partners
- Regular use of AI in your own workflow to ideate, draft, repurpose content and analyse performance. You check its output for quality, accuracy and brand voice, and you know when not to use it. Building simple AI-enabled workflows is a plus
How you work
- You take work from concept to published without waiting to be asked, flag risks early and close loops
- You’re the social expert in the room, with the taste to know what good looks like and the evidence to back a recommendation. You hold your position when the data supports it
- You move quickly on low-risk decisions and stay steady when priorities shift
- You work well across Brand, Product Marketing, video, agencies and partners, and you share what you know
- You ask for feedback, act on it and give it honestly and kindly
- You connect content to what frontline workers need and to business results
Good to know
- This is a full time role based in our Sydney office three days a week, with flexibility to work the other two from home
- You’ll occasionally be needed outside standard hours around major moments like launches and the Australian Open
