Senior Programmatic Media Manager
Do you love blending technical skill with operational excellence to build campaigns that perform, scale, and evolve with the market? At Tonic3, we’re searching for a Senior Programmatic Media Manager to join our team and be part of an integrated in-house agency, where Tonic3 specialists collaborate with client partners to deliver exceptional work. This is a chance to make a real impact—your work will help build our client's commerce media platform from the ground up, reaching high-value cardmembers and driving measurable impact for advertisers across digital properties.
As a programmatic subject matter expert, you’ll translate client objectives into flawless campaign execution—equally comfortable setting a long-term operational vision and rolling up your sleeves on technical ad tech requirements.
Position Overview: The Senior Programmatic Media Manager plays a critical role in executing and scaling campaign operations, reporting directly to the Programmatic Media Group Manager. You will own campaign execution excellence, drive process rigor, and help build the operational foundation required to support rapid growth across our client's commerce media platform. This role is ideal for a hands-on operator who thrives in fast-moving environments, brings deep technical ad ops expertise, and is eager to help shape best practices in a build-from-scratch organization.
Location: New York, NY or Irving, TX (Hybrid: 3 days per week in the office, 2 days remote).
Salary: $125,000 - $145,000 per year.
What You’ll Do:

End-to-End Campaign Operations: Execute complete campaign lifecycles from IO to completion, including setup, trafficking, pixel implementation, QA, and multi-channel delivery.
-
Pacing & Optimization: Monitor campaign pacing, proactively optimize performance, and troubleshoot delivery issues or discrepancies to ensure alignment with advertiser goals.
-
Inventory & Data Activation: Support inventory management across our client-owned and operated properties while activating audience segments using first-party data and partner platforms.
-
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales, Planning, Product, and Analytics teams to align on strategy, deliver clear reporting insights, and ensure campaigns hit key performance metrics.
-
Process Standardization: Contribute to the development of ad operations workflows, playbooks, and standardized procedures to improve campaign execution, scalability, and yield optimization.
-
Ad Tech Innovation: Evaluate and adopt new tools, technologies, and platforms to streamline execution and scale operational capabilities.
-
Governance & Risk Management: Appropriately assess risk when making operational decisions, maintaining strict compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and ethical business standards.
Who You Are:
