Amazon spent decades building one of the best supply chains in the world to run its own business, moving, storing, and delivering products fast and reliably. Amazon Supply Chain Services (ASCS) now opens that same network up to other businesses, so any company can use Amazon's multimodal ground and air freight, warehousing, distribution & fulfillment, and parcel shipping to run their own operations. Think of it like what AWS did for cloud computing, but for supply chain, and it is just getting started.
And that is where you come in. The ASCS Brand Marketing & Social team is looking for a paid media expert to lead global paid digital brand awareness campaigns for Amazon Supply Chain Services. This is a rare chance to be part of a team building an in-house media capability from the ground up for a business, setting strategy, standing up channels, and helping define what great looks like as we grow together.
As a key contributor to our paid media, you will help set the vision for the media program, bring new innovative ideas, and implement them successfully at every stage, from strategy and sourcing to QA and optimization. Using internal and industry data, you will recommend and execute paid marketing plans across digital paid channels (e.g. Google, LinkedIn, Meta, Microsoft, etc.). You will also partner closely with team members on campaigns in trade publications like FreightWaves, Supply Chain Brain, WSJ, etc.
We want someone who will be willing to learn, stay curious, and explore both traditional and non-traditional channels, including Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH), audio, CTV, display, and social. You will scale new ideas, infuse creativity, and test (and test!) to drive results, building on proven best practices while helping define new ones where the rules are still being written. This role is part of a close-knit team that partners daily across everything we do, including the Brand Marketing & Social lead, marketing managers, and paid media managers, to build a strong media program together.
The successful candidate has experience owning cross-functional digital media programs, making data-driven decisions, and influencing others. You work at the strategic level (generating bold and innovative ideas for growth) and at the tactical level (executing paid media campaigns, improving and automating processes, analyzing metrics, and solving problems). You track performance daily and report out regularly to senior leadership and stakeholders, through weekly business reviews, flashes, quarterly and annual reviews, and operational planning, so we are always ready to communicate results.
You are a self-starter with strong analytical skills who thrives among a broad, diverse set of stakeholders. You leverage strong organizational and project management skills and have a track record of delivering quality work. You have a high level of comfort navigating ambiguity, a passion for scaling learnings beyond your immediate team, and the ability to investigate complex challenges and effectively influence cross-functional stakeholders. You work backwards from the customer, apply innovative thinking, and dive deep to identify and mitigate gaps.
