Roles and Responsibilities

The Senior Manager, Paid Media, is responsible for overseeing and executing day-to-day paid media planning & buying and client service activities associated with assigned accounts. You would collaborate with clients and internal agency stakeholders in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, while maintaining and growing successful client relationships.

Media Planning and Buying:

Reviews media brief and sets planning process in motion

Creates Request for Proposal (RFP) and develops consideration list of appropriate publishers or vendors

Reviews partner proposals and filters/compiles most compelling proposals

Negotiates rates and added value with selected partners

Selects appropriate social platforms and campaign objectives based on client goals

Develops target segments to leverage based on client feedback

Develops paid media plans and presentation materials for client review and adapts/finalizes based on feedback

Ensures digital media tracking, audience building, creative trafficking, and billing is setup prior to campaign launch

Works with Creative team (within agency and/or client) on ad development to ensure creative is delivered to spec and supports media strategy

Works directly in Google Campaign Manager and/or other ad serving and reporting platforms, training junior members when needed.

Works directly in social platforms to execute, manage, and optimize campaigns.

When applicable, executes self-serve programmatic campaigns through self-serve partner DSPs.

Leads development of campaign reporting activities based on agreed upon cadence

Draws critical analysis from data and makes specific recommendations to optimize and improve campaign performance

Manages campaign execution from start to finish across all media channels

External Relationship Management:

Maintains and grows successful client relationships

Acts as a point of contact for designated clients and is responsive to all client requests and inquiries

Participates in client meetings and presentations

Stays up to date on digital paid media landscape to learn about relevant offerings, new products, and trends

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 5-8 years of experience planning and buying paid media campaigns

Experience planning and buying across online and offline media channels

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with client and Resolute team leads, Finance, and outside vendors. Can demonstrate small group presentation skills.

Excellent analytical skills and understanding of KPI’s and attribution

Experience working with Google Campaign Manager or other relevant 3rd Party Ad Servers

Experience working with media management tools (e.g. Mediaocean)

Experience executing campaigns directly within social media Ads Managers, including Meta, LinkedIn, and TikTok

Google Analytics Certification is a plus

Salary range: $85,000 - $100,000 USD
