We are seeking an Atlanta-based, high-execution Senior Field & Demand Generation Marketer to own lead generation, demand capture, and activation support for PlayOn’s Advertising and Brand Partnerships team. Sitting embedded within our B2B Marketing Team, this role serves as the growth engine for our high-impact media properties, including MaxPreps, and key events, such as the Flag Football Showdown, and high school Game of the Week events.
You are a true full-stack B2B marketer: comfortable building automated outbound email campaigns in Pardot/HubSpot, executing targeted LinkedIn social pushes and targeted ads, surfacing customer success stories/case studies, and coordinating on-site event logistics and sponsor brand activations. Additionally, you will bridge our go-to-market efforts with public relations, collaborating with our internal communications team and external PR agency to maximize coverage for major sponsorship deals and marquee events.
In this role, you can expect to
Demand & Lead Generation (Email & Outbound)
-
Campaign Execution: Design, launch, and optimize outbound email marketing campaigns targeting brand decision-makers (VPs/Directors of Marketing, Media Buyers, Field Marketers) across key brand verticals (sports performance, utility/parent brands, tech).
-
CRM & Automation Management: Manage and maintain lead lists, target account segments, and automation workflows in Pardot (or HubSpot) and Salesforce/Booster.
-
Database Growth: Partner with operations to enrich contact databases using tools like ZoomInfo, Apollo, or customized scraping solutions to hit monthly outreach targets.
-
Nurture & Cadence: Develop monthly outbound newsletters and personalized 1:1 email sequences highlighting new brand deals, milestones, and high-visibility media opportunities.
Social Media, Case Studies & PR Alignment
-
LinkedIn Strategy: Own B2B organic and paid social media presence (primarily LinkedIn) targeting advertising prospects.
-
Case Studies & Proof Points: Collaborate with internal teams to build compelling brand partnership case studies, media kit collateral, and recap decks (e.g., "How Brand X Activated High School Sports").
-
PR & External Promotion: Work directly with the internal communications team and external PR agency to promote key advertising deals, corporate milestones, and major events across industry trade publications and external media.
Event Marketing & Venue Activation Support
-
On-Site Branding & Collateral: Coordinate production, shipment, and deployment of event signage, feather flags, t-shirt giveaways, and branded assets for marquee events (Flag Football Showdown, Game of the Week).
-
Sponsor Activation Support: Act as the marketing liaison for event venues and sponsors to ensure high-visibility brand activations (e.g., sponsor vehicles/trucks on-site, booth setups, digital ticketing integrations).
-
Cross-Functional Event Logistics: Work directly with school communications, local school contacts, and production teams to ensure seamless execution for both sold sponsor activations and unsold branding plays
To thrive in this role, you have
-
Experience: 5+ years of B2B field marketing, demand generation, or growth marketing experience. Prior exposure to media sales, ad tech, sponsorship marketing, or sports/entertainment media is highly preferred.
-
Marketing Automation & CRM: Hands-on proficiency with Pardot, HubSpot, or similar B2B marketing automation platforms, combined with Salesforce CRM experience.
-
Outbound & Prospecting: Demonstrated ability to build, segment, and clean lead lists, and execute both cold email cadences and warm lead-nurture tracks.
-
B2B Social & PR Coordination: Experience leveraging LinkedIn for demand generation and coordinating with internal PR stakeholders or external agencies to amplify brand news.
-
Event Coordination: Experience organizing event signage, vendor collateral, and physical brand activations on-site at venues.
-
Agility: A "full-stack" mindset—ability to write copy, pull reports, coordinate logistics, and build email templates independently in a fast-paced environment.
How You Play
-
Ownership over Participation- You take responsibility for achieving holistic outcomes, prioritize key objectives, and adapt quickly when situations require a different approach. You follow through even against the toughest challenges.
-
Team over Stars- You are a bridge builder, establishing processes and relationships with teams outside your own. You work to rally around common goals, find win-win solutions, compromise when necessary, and help others succeed.
-
Growth over Comfort- You are driven by a desire to grow and actively seek opportunities to expand your comfort zone, skills, and confidence. You embrace new challenges with curiosity, accepting discomfort and failure as opportunities to learn.
-
Fairness over Popularity- You approach decisions with a scientist’s mindset, challenging your assumptions and remaining objective. You consider long-term impact rather than relying on short-term gains, proactively seek others’ perspectives, and manage emotions in decision-making.
