Overview

The Creative Awards Manager plays a critical role at the intersection of creative excellence and external visibility. This individual is responsible for leading the agency’s awards strategy and execution while driving thought leadership efforts that amplify Saatchi’s and our major client’s work and reputation in the marketplace.

This role requires a strategic storyteller, a highly organized operator, and a collaborative partner who can connect the dots between award-winning work and compelling narratives.

Responsibilities

Awards Strategy & Execution

  • Lead the development and execution of Saatchi and our major client’s awards strategy, identifying high-potential work and aligning submissions to maximize win probability
  • Analyze global and regional award trends, jury behavior, and category performance to inform entry strategy
  • Manage the annual awards calendar, including deadlines, budgets, entry fees, and submission timelines
  • Partner with creative, production, and account teams to shape award-winning narratives, case study videos, and written entries
  • Edit and review all submissions for clarity, accuracy, and adherence to award show guidelines
  • Oversee the end-to-end submission process, including approvals, entry logistics, RFE/PO creation, and payment processing
  • Maintain a centralized database of awards performance, tracking success rates and informing future strategy
  • Archive all final assets, credits, and award materials for use in PR, marketing, and new business efforts

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Act as a central connector across leadership, creative, production, account, and client PR teams to align on priorities and deliverables
  • Provide strategic guidance on how to position creative work for both awards and earned media success
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing deadlines across awards cycles and content needs
  • Lead budget tracking for awards, including events, and related expenses

Content & Channel Management

  • Oversee agency-owned channels, including social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube) and website content
  • Develop and manage social content strategy to amplify work, wins, and agency culture
  • Partner with account and creative teams to publish case studies and news updates on the agency website
  • Ensure brand consistency and quality across all external-facing communications

Qualifications

  • 6–8+ years of experience in an advertising or communications role within an agency environment
  • Proven track record managing awards submissions
  • Strong understanding of advertising awards landscape and what differentiates winning work
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into compelling narratives
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and project management capabilities
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence across teams and senior stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen, sound judgment, and commitment to excellence

Compensation Range: USD $81,225.00 - USD $124,432.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
