Position Summary

TRUNO is seeking a Senior Content Marketing Specialist to develop customer-centric, problem-solving content that supports integrated marketing campaigns and broader brand and demand-generation objectives.

This hands-on senior individual contributor will turn customer challenges, industry insights, and subject matter expertise into clear, useful, and compelling content. The ideal candidate is a strong writer and researcher who can build cohesive campaign stories and help bring that content to market. This role does not currently include direct people-management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Content Development

  • Develop customer-focused content around real business challenges, questions, and priorities.
  • Write and edit articles, emails, landing pages, guides, case studies, customer communications, thought leadership, and digital content.
  • Translate complex product, service, operational, or technical information into clear, accessible messaging.
  • Repurpose core ideas across formats and channels to extend the value of each content initiative.

Customer & Subject Matter Insight

  • Partner with internal teams to identify recurring customer questions, challenges, objections, and opportunities.
  • Interview subject matter experts and turn their expertise into useful customer-facing content.
  • Research customer and industry topics that can inform future content.
  • Ensure content reflects the customer's perspective and real-world business needs.

Campaign Content & Execution Support

  • Translate approved campaign direction and customer insights into campaign narratives, themes, and content plans.
  • Recommend content formats and sequencing based on the campaign objective and audience.
  • Maintain consistent messaging and storytelling across campaign touchpoints.
  • Support execution by preparing, coordinating, and publishing content across appropriate marketing channels while maintaining content calendars, deadlines, drafts, and approvals.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible marketing, content marketing, communications, or related experience.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and messaging skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop customer-focused content across multiple formats and translate complex information into clear, useful messaging.
  • Strong interviewing, research, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong organization, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple priorities with limited day-to-day oversight.

Preferred Qualifications

  • B2B marketing experience.
  • Experience developing content for integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Experience creating thought leadership, educational content, case studies, or customer stories.
  • Familiarity with email marketing, web content, and content management systems.
