Position: Senior Associate, Digital Marketing Production Support

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Senior Director, Marketing, the Senior Associate, Digital Marketing is responsible for hands-on digital marketing and creative production support for United Way of New York City’s campaigns, initiatives, and events. The position assists with website updates, email campaigns, social media content creation, and digital asset management, ensuring all materials are high-quality, on-brand, and aligned with UWNYC’s mission.

Primary Responsibilities:

Digital Marketing & Website Support

  • Capture photos, stories, and video clips during events for storytelling, social media, email marketing, and broader marketing campaigns.
  • Support creation and maintenance of campaign pages, donation forms, and automated emails.
  • Update and maintain website content, ensuring pages are accurate, timely, and on-brand.
  • Create and manage landing pages and micro-sites for campaigns, events, and programs.
  • Work closely with Sr. Manager, Marketing to strategize and develop digital advertising for email list lead generation and driving website traffic.
  • Conduct website quality assurance and accessibility checks; flag content or functionality issues.
  • Generate QR codes, short links, and campaign tracking assets.

Email Marketing

  • Work closely with Sr. Manager, Marketing to build, test, and deploy email marketing campaigns.
  • Write and edit content for newsletters, event invitations, and donor communications.
  • Track and report on open rates, click-throughs, and engagement metrics.

Social Media & Content Production

  • Work closely with Director, Creative and Sr. Manager, Marketing to create social graphics from scratch or adapt from templates.
  • Support social video production, photo editing, and light animation when needed.
  • Work closely with Sr. Manager, Marketing to draft social copy aligned with UWNYC’s tone and mission.
  • Work closely with Sr. Manager, Marketing to support paid social media advertising planning and execution.
  • Track analytics and recommend engagement improvements.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years’ experience in digital marketing, creative production, or communications.
  • Proficiency in WordPress, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, InDesign).
  • Experience with Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar email tools.
  • Familiarity with social media management and analytics platforms.
  • Comfortable using a smartphone or camera for photo/video content.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
