About Future Fund

At the Future Fund, we’re for future minds – like yours. The new investors and creators who thrive on different thinking and doing it together. Those who glimpse opportunity before it strikes and step up every day to grab it.

The Future Fund is Australia's Sovereign Wealth Fund, managing over $340 billion across seven public asset funds with the same purpose: growing Australia’s future. We are a global investor and work closely with world leading investment organisations to access the best investment ideas.

Where others see challenges, we see more interesting investment experiences. Every person, every skillset, every mindset is an asset. We’ve got every future generation to consider, yet our approach to investing is incredibly pure: we think about it deeply, and daily. Ours is a culture where great people grow the future together, with the rare ability to work collaboratively, think freely, and make a real difference.

Are you Futureminded? Let’s create what’s next.

The Opportunity

This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract opportunity for someone who enjoys going beyond reporting to uncover meaningful trends, influence decisions and help build a more analytical, insight-led People & Culture function. You'll partner with stakeholders across the organisation to translate complex workforce data into compelling insights that support workforce planning, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion initiatives, talent management, remuneration processes and strategic decision-making.

This role offers a unique combination of hands-on analytics, stakeholder engagement and project work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, challenging assumptions and helping leaders make better decisions through data.

What you'll be doing

  • Deliver high-quality people reporting, dashboards and workforce insights for senior leaders and key decision-makers.

  • Lead employee engagement surveys and other people-related surveys, from design and analysis through to presenting recommendations and actions.

  • Analyse workforce trends, people metrics and organisational data to identify opportunities, risks and emerging themes.

  • Support strategic workforce planning activities and provide insights that help shape business and people strategies.

  • Contribute to diversity, inclusion and regulatory reporting, including WGEA and broader public sector reporting requirements.

  • Partner with stakeholders across People & Culture to improve data quality, reporting capability and decision-making.

  • Help drive the continued evolution of the People & Culture function towards a more data-driven, insight-led approach.

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, automate reporting and leverage technology to deliver better outcomes.

About You

We're interested in hearing from people who are naturally curious, analytical and commercially minded.

You may come from people analytics, workforce planning, HR reporting, business intelligence or a broader analytics background and be motivated by using data to influence decisions and improve organisational outcomes.

You'll likely bring:

  • Experience working with workforce, HR or people-related data in a medium to large organisation.

  • Advanced analytical and reporting capability, including strong Excel skills and experience with data visualisation and reporting tools.

  • The ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.

  • Experience undertaking surveys, data analysis and meaningful recommendations based on findings.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and quality.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

  • A continuous improvement mindset and an interest in using data to solve business problems.

Please note that the opportunity is open to Australian citizens only.
