Position Overview

The Performance Marketing Specialist will be responsible for planning, executing and optimizing paid acquisition across paid search, paid social and app campaigns to attract qualified audiences and move users into priority REALTOR.ca journeys. The role will use performance data, testing and budget optimization to improve meaningful user actions, conversion efficiency and return on marketing investment, while working across Product Marketing, CRM, Partner Marketing and Business Intelligence.

Function

The Performance Marketing Specialist will manage end-to-end campaign execution, optimization and reporting across paid search, paid social and app acquisition. They will translate business priorities into measurable acquisition plans, manage budgets and targets, test audiences, creative and landing pages, and recommend actions that improve qualified traffic, conversion, product adoption and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute and optimize paid search, paid social and app acquisition programs aligned to REALTOR.ca priorities and active decision-maker growth.
  • Manage campaign setup, budgets, pacing, bidding, targeting, ad copy, creative coordination, landing-page requirements and quality assurance.
  • Drive acquisition and conversion for app, mortgage, insurance and other priority journeys, optimizing CTR, CPC, CPM, CPA and ROAS.
  • Define audiences, objectives, conversion events, KPIs and reporting sources with Product Marketing, CX and Business Intelligence before launch.
  • Build a structured testing roadmap across audiences, creative, messaging, landing pages and bid strategies, and apply learnings to improve performance.
  • Analyze campaign and journey data to identify trends, drop-off and investment opportunities that improve conversion, efficiency and product adoption.
  • Collaborate with CRM, Partner Marketing, Content, AEO and SEO, Communications and Product on integrated campaigns, launches and partner activations.
  • Support mortgage and partner outcomes by improving qualified referrals, provider continuation actions, conversion efficiency and paid-media return.
  • Maintain recurring reporting and scorecards, communicate recommendations, manage deliverables and stay current on platform, privacy and measurement changes.

Skills & Qualifications

  • University degree or college diploma in marketing, business, analytics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on performance or digital marketing experience with paid acquisition and campaign optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads, GA4, and major paid social advertising platforms.
  • Experience with app acquisition or mobile growth campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of CTR, CPC, CPM, CPI, CPA, conversion rate, ROAS and ROI.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, pacing and bidding against defined targets.
  • Experience with conversion tracking, attribution and performance dashboards.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into optimization decisions.
  • Proven skills in ad copy, creative briefing, landing-page optimization and A/B testing.
  • Strong project management, prioritization and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across teams and with external partners.
  • Bilingualism is an asset.
