In this role, you will be responsible for paid media for the NewAge Products Portfolio Brands, which sit alongside our flagship NewAge Products brand and are run as separate accounts. Drawing on your expertise in paid media, you will create, implement, and optimize a mix of paid channels. As an individual contributor reporting to the Sr. Growth Manager, you will execute against and help achieve the growth goals for these brands.
Responsibilities:
Campaign Management & Optimization
- Own the paid media plan and channel mix for the Portfolio Brands
- Build, launch, and optimize campaigns across paid search, Shopping, display, video, and social platforms.
- Manage all aspects of campaign configuration and ongoing optimization, including bidding, audiences, ad trafficking, and account hygiene.
- Own the testing roadmap for the portfolio brands, including continuous A/B testing of ad copy, bid strategies, and landing pages.
- Ensure campaigns meet clearly defined conversion and efficiency objectives.
Budget & Spend Management
- Manage day-to-day budget pacing and allocation across portfolio brand accounts within the budgets set by the Sr. Growth Manager.
- Monitor spend against plan, flag variances early, and recommend reallocations across channels and brands based on performance.
Planning & Forecasting
- Support the annual and quarterly paid media planning process with channel recommendations, expected outcomes, and test proposals for each portfolio brand.
- Translate approved plans into campaign structures, budgets, and timelines
Tracking & Measurement
- Own conversion tracking and measurement for the portfolio brands, including GTM, pixel and CAPI setup, product feed health, and troubleshooting data discrepancies between platforms and GA4.
- Create and deliver clear analytics and reporting to track progress against goals and share insights with the Sr. Growth Manager.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with the creative team by writing content briefs, drafting ad copy variations, and providing performance-based direction.
- Work with e-commerce, merchandising, and web teams on landing pages, promotions, and product feed requirements.
- Coordinate with platform representatives and any external partners to resolve issues and adopt new features.
Continuous Improvement
- Troubleshoot, problem-solve, and find creative solutions as needed.
- Stay current on platform changes and industry best practices, and bring relevant opportunities to the team.
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of hands-on digital marketing experience in paid media, including at least 2 years directly managing Google Ads and Meta accounts (not overseeing an agency).
- Strong quantitative ability and an advanced understanding of digital media analytics, including how to set up media analytics infrastructure to track KPIs.
- Understanding of past and current digital marketing and technology trends.
- Deep knowledge of, and passion for, technology, digital marketing, and innovation.
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated, with excellent communication skills and focus.
- Drive to deliver on and exceed performance goals.
- Proactive, collaborative, and results-driven work style.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have in-depth, hands-on experience with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads (Bing), and Meta Ads (must have).
- Have experience working with GA4, Google Merchant Center, and product feeds.
- Have experience with GTM, event tracking, and CAPI integrations
- Be fluent in the main ad metrics and comfortable reporting on them.
- Have a strong analytical background.
- Be confident using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) for research, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Have experience writing ad briefs and working with creative teams and/or agencies.
- Be hands-on and pragmatic.
- Be detail-oriented and highly organized, with a keen eye for consistency.
- Work effectively in a collaborative team environment, and independently when required.
- Show the ability and willingness to pick up new skills independently.
- Have ad management experience on social platforms such as X, Pinterest, and Reddit (nice to have).
- Have experience with retail ad platforms such as Criteo, Amazon Marketplace, and HD Advantage+ (nice to have).
Newage Offers:
Salary and bonus is based on experience and highly competitive for the right candidate.
- This is an existing vacancy and the base salary range for this position, is estimated to be $80,000 to $110,000 annually (CAD) at the time of the posting.
