This role goes beyond execution - you’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day activity autonomously, contributing to strategic planning, and ensuring our campaigns deliver against commercial and customer-focused objectives.

You will work closely with cross-functional partners across Brand, Trading, CRM, Creative and Categories to deliver high-performing campaigns. This is an ideal step for someone who has mastered the fundamentals of paid social and is ready to take responsibility for optimising full-funnel activity, shaping tests, and presenting insights to wider teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Management: Own the end-to-end delivery of paid social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest and emerging platforms, ensuring accurate setup, performance monitoring, and optimisation.
  • Strategic Input: Support the Paid Social Manager in building channel strategies, audience frameworks and creative requirements for commercial and brand campaigns.
  • Advanced Optimisation: Make autonomous optimisation decisions informed by data, adjusting budgets, bids, creative and targeting to maximise performance against KPIs.
  • Budget Ownership: Manage daily pacing, monthly forecasting and reconciliations, ensuring budgets are delivered efficiently and accurately across markets and campaigns.
  • Performance Reporting: Build insightful weekly and monthly performance reports, translating outcomes into clear recommendations for both marketing and senior stakeholders.
  • Trade & Stakeholder Communication: Present campaign results and upcoming activity in trade, commercial and cross-functional meetings, acting as the paid social representative.
  • Testing Roadmap: Develop and execute testing roadmaps across audiences, creative variations, placements and formats. Document results, insights and recommendations.
  • Creative Collaboration: Brief creative teams, guide assets based on platform best practice, and provide feedback rooted in data and learnings from previous campaigns.
  • Industry Insights: Stay ahead of platform changes, algorithm shifts and best practices, proactively sharing opportunities and recommendations with the wider team.

About You:

You are a confident, analytical and proactive marketer who loves using paid social to drive real commercial impact. You’re excited by the opportunity to take ownership of your own campaigns, shape how testing evolves, and bring a strong customer-first perspective to every decision. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy balancing detail-oriented execution with big-picture thinking.

What we're looking for:

  • 3 years of hands-on experience in running or supporting paid social campaigns (in-house or agency)
  • Strong understanding of social platforms, their ad managers and performance metrics. Smartly knowledge is a plus.
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to translate numbers into meaningful insights and actions.
  • Commercial confidence working with budgets - from initial forecasting and daily pacing to ensuring efficient delivery, maximising ROI and accuracy across campaigns.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to articulate performance, insights and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience contributing to trade, commercial or cross-functional meetings, representing paid social and communicating the “why” behind performance.
  • Experience building or executing against a structured testing roadmap - across audiences, formats, creative variations and messaging - and using results to inform future strategy.
  • Strong analytical acumen with the ability to extract insights from platform data and tools like GA4/Adobe/QlikSense and turn them into actionable recommendations.
  • Creative curiosity, with an eye for what works on social and the confidence to guide asset development.
  • High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns at once.
  • Experience in using Smartly to manage paid social campaigns across platforms is a plus.
