Overview
As a Search Supervisor at Razorfish, you will play a critical leadership role within our integrated client teams, serving as the primary contact for day-to-day search operations while overseeing the workflow of Search Managers and Search Coordinators. This intermediate management position requires a comprehensive understanding of paid search fundamentals and a commitment to developing innovative strategies and enhancing performance for clients with the effective use of advanced technology. You will mentor junior team members, drive the adoption of standard methodologies, and actively shape the tools and processes we use by participating in product sessions with partners.
Responsibilities
- Stay Informed on Best Practices: Actively engage in understanding the search landscape and industry standard processes through continuous education, including internal training and webinars, to keep abreast of emerging trends and strategies.
- Guide Campaign Development: Lead Search Strategists and Coordinators in creating innovative campaigns tailored to connect with the right audience at critical moments, focusing on data-driven insights and personalized experiences.
- Oversee Budget Management: Manage campaign budgets to meet performance goals, proactively identifying solutions to optimize run rates and enhance return on investment.
- Forecasting and Analysis: Develop and maintain accurate forecasting models to predict campaign performance, facilitating informed decision-making.
- Risk Management and Quality Assurance: Ensure comprehensive risk management through quality assurance processes, demonstrating a RACI framework to uphold campaign integrity.
- Data-Driven Insights: Identify areas for improvement and opportunity through ongoing analysis of data sets, driving strategic adjustments and enhancements to campaigns.
- Performance Reporting: Prepare and present performance reports, highlighting changes and actions taken to improve outcomes, fostering transparency with clients and partners.
- Planning and organizing: Build and present quarterly strategy and test plans to clients that showcase innovative ways and align with client objectives.
- Cultivate Partnerships: Build and maintain strategic relationships with partner platforms, participating in product sessions to shape tools that optimize campaign performance.
- Collaborate Across Departments: Work with internal teams on comprehensive media planning and initiatives that foster knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Mentor Junior Team Members: Actively mentor junior staff by sharing experiences and standard processes, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- Onboarding Support: Assist in onboarding new team members, providing guidance on processes and expectations for smooth integration.
- Client Program Management: Act as the primary contact for daily search program management, anticipating client needs and delivering effective responses.
- Participate in Leadership Training: Engage in internal management training programs to enhance leadership competencies and promote continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM), with a strong focus on developing and implementing paid search strategies.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with the ability to extract actionable insights from large datasets to optimize campaigns and drive strategic decisions.
- Strong understanding of audience segmentation and targeting strategies, enabling personalized experiences throughout the search journey.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for articulating concepts and strategies effectively to clients and team members.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in mentoring junior team members and fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel for data management and reporting, along with experience in analytics tools like Google Analytics and Google Ads.
- Expertise in utilizing advanced technology, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and Python or other programming languages, to improve campaign strategies, enhance content generation, and optimize marketing workflows.
- Strong client-service orientation, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
- Solid understanding of online campaign measurement and methodologies to ensure effective performance optimization.
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Committed to continuous learning, staying updated on industry trends and standard processes in digital marketing.
Education
- BA/BS or equivalent experience required; advanced degrees or certifications in digital marketing are advantageous.

Compensation Range: USD $75,050.00 - USD $120,159.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
